excuse me? i'm just a private investor, how the hell could I have known that developing the mining assets would be uneconomic? We are in a real downturn in the mining sector, and this has hit the smallest explorers the hardest. The chart suggested that the company had been oversold and I recommended buying into it. Given the support of the Creat Group, it's plans to find assets with greater value and the value of its major stake in GXY - I still do. I don't need to post regulalry as it's pretty obvious this is a waiting game now. It's also high risk. Do your own research. No one buys into a share based upon the posts of another individual.

Why I don't buy Chinese stocks on AIM

Greg Rudd, the brother of the former Australian prime minister, once met a Chinese businessman who gave him some prudent advice.

"You tend to see the good in people, Mr Rudd", he started. "People like you. You laugh a lot. But you'll never make money in China with that attitude. You'll only be taken advantage of. People will trade off you. They won't pay you. The number one rule of doing business in China is this; never trust a Chinaman. Why would you as a foreigner trust a Chinese businessman when we as Chinese don't trust each other?"

Now that advice is pretty close to the bone. But I've said it before in Penny Sleuth – you have to be very careful when you invest in a Chinese company. The record of AIM-listed Chinese companies is simply awful. And with so many still coming to market, there is a real chance that many private investors will end up making some very expensive mistakes...

Nobody's selling because the value has declined to such an extent it's not worth considering except to eat up some cgt tax allowance.

Love to know the percentage of AIM shares that go under. It must be in the 90% range.

Considering there are 667 million shares issued and only approx. 2 million have been traded over the last 2 weeks it doesn't look as if many people are selling.

You seem to have gone quiet on that now ?

Just like you went quiet on other disaster stocks that you were sounding positive on but then crashed i.e. DLM, MBW etc

Can you just tell are you still 'topping up' on CRHL ?

It seems to be becoming even more and more of a bargain ? You must own about 200% of the Company now right ?

Despite them saying

'the negative equity position has deteriorated futher'

some idiots seem to be selling ! Put them right !

I do not agree with BAM
The forthcoming accounts will be dire = that's for sure, but his second paragraph is the most interesting part of the business yet to come: Creat Group has grown hugely and internationally and I shall let them get on with it... also I do expect the Galaxy class resource to be taken out by a mining major, in due course.
Maybe I repeat myself but there should be no harm in doing that especially after much mud gets thrown here...
Selling the mining assets was a sensible move

edit: I really must avoid reading this thread for a while

You can see the pattern here, sells go through and get soaked up, we have a small drop, then the price goes back up on tiny buys....this for me says a lot the mm's happy to take stock and reluctant to sell, watch out for news here soon...this is the only miner i know that has not made a solid move, that is down to lack of news but it will come...just look at their holding in galaxy, and look how far galaxy can go, that's besides all their licences they have....i got told to buy in here 18 months ago the tip came from a bunch of investors that are also in here, every share they have picked in the last 18 months has always given them a 50% to 100% return, they are waiting for this one to come to fruition...when you get peeps deramping a share you know it's time to buy...GLA!!!

The upcoming accounts will show the extent of the negative equity or nil value position. Proceeds from the asset sale will be divvied out to Creat Group firstly through interest charges on the debt and they can also get cash in return for reversing an asset in here, probably some exploration leases in the backend of nowhere. Creat Group have effective control over the Board and voting rights all but guaranteeing any acquisition will be weighted in favour of themselves rather than ordinary shareholders. From the RNS:

Part of the cash proceeds will be applied to new investment opportunities. Major creditor & shareholder Creat Group will support the Company in further investments. Directors will consider opportunities to invest in high-risk early-stage assets in which it may use the connections of Creat Group.
