I bought,the rise last week according to the Observer was a rumour that Lord Ashcroft was about to buy more.
Maybe as in most rumours it didnt materealise and hence the drop.

Harvey Nash Group Plc ("Harvey Nash" or "The Group")


Pre Close Period Trading Update


Harvey Nash Group plc will announce its full year results on Friday 26th March
2004.

Trading has continued to improve and results for the final quarter have been
ahead of expectations. As a result, profit before exceptional items, goodwill
and taxation for the year ended 31 January 2004, is expected to be well ahead of
current market consensus estimates.

David Higgins, Chief Executive Officer, said:

"The improving levels of activity in our UK and US operations have resulted in
operating profits ahead of our expectations in the final quarter of last year.
This positive momentum has continued into the new year and we are optimistic
about the prospects for the Group in 2004."

I did not expect any news before march...the fact that they have not given a trading update may suggest they believe results are in line with analysts forecasts......
