20/11/2003 10:05 | millionaire Do you meen the buyers should have kept on buying or did they all sell and that has caused the price to fall? I dont understand your reasoning. | zapa
20/11/2003 09:52 | Exactly one week ago they were tipped as a buy by shares mag and the buyers piled in. 1 week later what has changed? Nothing! The sentiment has changed so the share price falls. How fickle people are. | millionaire
19/11/2003 15:17 | on the road, grateful for the link you provided making profits and not complaining, but sure these profits could multipled many times, if we could get the info early, tried to use the link below but keep getting the login page am i missing something on the link? | ugetrichquick
19/11/2003 15:02 | getting close to my buy price, looks like next week i will be buying these at 10p again. | thinkbig?
17/11/2003 10:18 | Today's tip, INO - Share price of 7.125p, cash plus investments of 12p per share. A screaming buy with market cap of £890k, with £1.5m in cash and investments. We'll see 10p today with any luck. Well done to those who made money from my SPD tip on Friday (went from 12p to 18.5p). INO has the potential to make more, with less risk. | blib_5
17/11/2003 10:17 | Where? The 200k @ 11.5 is knitcraft's sell. | sreddy
17/11/2003 10:15 | at last - a half decent buy... SM | supermum
17/11/2003 09:49 | knitcraft My words were indeed aimed as an opinion from where I see short term price fluctuations affecting sentiment of traders. No doubt people poured in last thursday because of the comments in shares magazine and now are being fleeced by the MM's who relish the tip em and rip em scenario. sreddy's comments are valid and quite eloquently put. A view I tend to agree with. Indeed if you see a profit take it. I do as extensively I tend to trade within T10's and not hold unless I see a higher future value by holding a share. CSV is one that I take that view on. | millionaire
17/11/2003 09:44 | Point taken sreddy. | knitcraft
17/11/2003 09:41 | Yes, I do, and well done to you for your trade (I sold all my holding at c.13p a while ago, having bought at c.3/5p, and then bought them and many more back at under 10p). I have sold some since and still, at 850,000, hold more than I started with. This share jumps up and down quite unexpectedly by 1/2p, and playing the fluctuations can be very profitable, but is also risky. Those who bought at 3/5p for good reasons and still consider the share to be fundamentally undervalued, have a valid case for just holding on for the recovery, doing very nicely and not having the 'aggravation' of trying to play the fluctuations. I don't think millionaire's comments were aimed at sophisticated traders like you, but at nervous holders who bought for all the right reasons at 3p and sold out at 5p (for a good 60%) but only because the share went down from 6p to 5p and they got nervous, even though, in their heart of hearts they still considered the share to be very undervalued. In my view, that is not taking the view that 'a profit is a profit', but is selling 'weakly' even though they 'know' there may be much more to come. Temporary emotion may have overcome their well-worked out fundamental analysis of the 'real' risk/reward situation. I've done it, and rarely been able to say "Gosh, I was lucky to have got out when I did", more like "I wish I had held on to XXX instead of jumping out too quickly and putting my money into YYY which has now done worse than XXX, and which I don't understand as well as XXX". Anyway, enough of the ramble, I think you know what I mean. | sreddy
17/11/2003 09:23 | sreddy Thought you aspired to being a dynamic investor. | knitcraft
17/11/2003 09:21 | knitcraft, It is constant and consistent views which mean that many are still holding from c.3p not that long ago. | sreddy
17/11/2003 09:18 | Millionaire..... rubbish. Just sold 200000 at 11.5p. Bought at 9.25p a week or so ago.Does that make me weak or is £4500 profit not worth bothering with. Will get back in below 10p hopefully.Might buy back in at 12p if the facts suggest that is a good time to buy.IMHO look at the facts as presented immediately before you trade, don`t have views which are constant and inflexible. | knitcraft
17/11/2003 09:11 | The more the MM's tree shake the more the weak panic and sell. If you aint got the balls to hold then you really shouldn't be in CSV. If you are weak you will lose money. | millionaire
17/11/2003 08:12 | Lets see what the week holds. The US economy is apparently growing at a faster rate than in the DotCom boom. CSV should be seeing much healthier profits. This one will not be held back much longer. | simeon7
14/11/2003 13:43 | its sooner than april. | simeon7
14/11/2003 13:35 | Why do you all think results are due soon??? Full years for 2002 were reported in March. No reason I can see why full year for 2003 won't be March 2004. That's not my definition of soon.... | bridggar
14/11/2003 12:14 | Simeon7 - interim's or full year ? regards hamnavoe .... | hamnavoe
14/11/2003 12:05 | Soon ham - thats all I know. Looking good again. Holding nice and steady after some biggish sells. Bodes well for later/Monday. | simeon7
14/11/2003 11:47 | anybody know when this company's results ( full year or interims ) are due regards hamnavoe | hamnavoe
13/11/2003 14:19 | Good point. Are they in a closed period at the moment? We all know that a closed period actually means "closed except to close friends and interested parties"!, so that would explain the rise. All IMHO | simeon7
13/11/2003 12:37 | Simeon could get taken out when they announce results. I don't know when that is BUT if at the end of november it would tie in with the train of thought that dealings of the shares of late indicate that somebody knows something and certain parties have had the nod. Would make sense to announce an interest around the time of the results to restrict volatility in the share price movements until that time. | millionaire
13/11/2003 11:39 | simeon7 thanks for that, from your posts (2) it looks like it will get taken out twice lol regards hamnavoe ......... | hamnavoe
13/11/2003 11:32 | ham - a bit from column A, a bit from column B. It will get taken out eventually, its just a question of when. | simeon7
