07/7/2015 07:39 | Agree - some signs of strategies working and strong record of delivering as promised. | 18bt
07/7/2015 07:24 | Good positive statement. Happy with that. | rcturner2
24/6/2015 15:21 | See the directors have got new options about 10% below the current price. Nice timing... At least it is better than quite a few companies I have/am invested in, where the exercise price is nil. So more skin in the game, as with an exercise price near to the current price there is a far greater leverage to the options on share price upside from here. | edmundshaw
23/6/2015 13:21 | The new delivery part of the business ought eventually to be successful. Just had a horrendous experience receiving a parcel delivered by UKMail. Made no attempt to deliver. Raced out to get the parcel that I had been waiting all morning for after hearing the unfilled "Missed You" card being posted through the letter box. This was the 3rd non-attempt to deliver and the family was at home on all occasions. Delivery bloke was driving a rental van and was very unpleasant. There is obviously a massive gap in the market for CNCT's vans taking parcels to the local newsagent along with newspapers/magazines etc. It would certainly be my preferred delivery method after this and other horrendous experiences and the arguing with my wife over telling her to stop buying off ebay/Amazon and expecting me to be around for delivery. | bakunin
23/6/2015 09:03 | Good to see the bounce back this morning. Hopefully the seller is finished now... and buyers will regain confidence. | edmundshaw
22/6/2015 09:02 | Welllooks like my double bottom. I've taken some for the juicy income. | my retirement fund
20/6/2015 10:18 | Added back at 145p (having sliced at 163p, overweight). Dividend looks around the 9p level, so we are yielding around 6% at £1.50. As previous comments suggest, seems likely someone is dumping a few. Given the rights issue there could be several reasons for this that are not company performance related (e.g. fund weighting rules), so happy to add further here. | edmundshaw
19/6/2015 20:16 | Briggs, that is the end of day UT trade, which is an auction where the price is set so that the most shares can be transacted. There will be many trades within the UT trade. On monday when it reopens it will be back to the previous bid offer spread. | rcturner2
19/6/2015 17:37 | that's 250,000 shares dumped at 136 | briggs1209
19/6/2015 16:56 | Yes, a bit premature in my purchase, thankfully not a farm bet but painful nonetheless. Fingers crossed for the medium term. | cwa1
19/6/2015 16:42 | Not at all happy with this continued dripping away of the share price. Looks as though we could have a determined seller. Normally the market is trying to tell us something when this happens, but in the absence of any bad news this might just be a fantastic buying opportunity. Pity I am fully loaded. | lord gnome
12/6/2015 15:45 | And another few, mad fool that I am, at 153. Ho hum, fingers crossed and all that. | cwa1
04/6/2015 10:49 | Morning All Just a small nibble at 158'ish to join your merry band of Connecters. Medium term holding expected assuming nothing fundamentally alters out there. Best of luck to all. | cwa1
02/6/2015 10:23 | Make that 161.75p bid. | aleman
02/6/2015 10:20 | That looks like the 160p sellers are clearing now, with the bid rising this morning to 161.5p. It should be able to make that jump to 180p soon. | aleman
01/6/2015 10:43 | I can't see a lot happening here for a while yet. I reckon we may have to wait until September when the finals start to loom into view. We could see 180 by the start of October. | lord gnome
01/6/2015 10:36 | Not made the jump to 180p yet but it looks to be turning that 160p resistance into a support base. | aleman
18/5/2015 10:02 | I'll drink to that Aleman! | edmundshaw
18/5/2015 09:03 | Looks like the loose stock from the rights issue has cleared. THe chart suggests a quick move up to 180p. | aleman
27/4/2015 14:58 | Nice to see a NED buying shares... Director/PDMR Shareholding - Gary Kennedy - | speedsgh
24/4/2015 10:28 | A reasonable move with some volume this morning. | skinny
23/4/2015 17:27 | Yes, basically our shares are cheaper by 10% as the rights shares were at a steep discount at 102p. The average price of shares was therefore c.10% lower, so the dividend is rebased by that 10%. If there had been no discount to the rights shares, there would be fewer shares and the dividend would actually be higher (for the same cost to the company). Same difference. On the price side, if the stock should have been valued at 200p, that should also be adjusted downwards to around 178p, or if 170p, to 155p. So our expectations for the share price should also be shifted down by around 10% (assuming you think Tufnells will give the same ROCE as the rest of the company). Anyway, a very nice yield and a cheap stock in my view. | edmundshaw |
