|tara7: Growing fast from low base,= higher share price.|
|wayneb: Roll on March for the results, hopefully they will show a fair profit and a good rise in turnover. Then maybe the share price will rise.
|wayneb: Bid dropping now and now the spread is .5,was hoping the share price would stop above 2p.|
|wayneb: At last some movement up in the share price,i have just checked and i have been holding these since 2001.I think the business now is far stronger than it was then.Maybe the market is just waking up to these. You never know they could even get back to the float price of 8p,????????|
POSSIBLE SCAM WARNING
Just for info had a phone call from a 'bank in New York' stating they were acting on behalf of a client who was interested in acquiring a controlling stake in Claims People - the guy tried to get from me the number of shares I had (didnt tell him) and went on to say they and their lawyers would prepare the paper work to process the transfer of my shares to them etc etc.
He then only went on to state something along the lines that I should know the company has been 'illegally manipulating shares' without informing shareholders and interested parties so as to prevent their client getting the controlling shares..all very very unbelievable....but it got even better than that...he stated that upon receipt of my share certificates they would wire to my account (yeh, right) the proceeds of the transfer. And then the icing on the cake - his client was prepared to pay a minimum of £30 a share!!!!!!!
So in summary, do be aware that there appears to be some sort of scam going on with CLM share certs 'purchase' being the bait....dont know if the company know about this...quite where these guys get phone numbers and details of shareholdings beats me....
PS at least they could make a believable shareprice.....£30 - that would be nice eh!|
|wayneb: I see there was a 250 thou T trade yesterday, somebody is hoping for a rise in the share price, maybe hoping to close before settlement|
|wayneb: Oh well only been waiting 5 years for something good to happen with this share,so what is another year.Mind you it would be nice to see the share price near 8p|
|wayneb: I do not think the share price will move up until the next set of results, maybe they will show a profit this time. With all this flood damage etc they should have got a fair bit of work.If not there must be something wrong !!!!!|
|wayneb: I am not sure if it is good news or not for CLM,as they lost a major contract with Norwich Union, ever since this the share price has drifted down.I know the share price has recovered from the all time low but it needs some sort of good news to push the price up.
All the best|
|davidlloyd: Market is Pricing CLM to go under or do nothing for the foreseeable future. Better things elsewhere unless there is consolidation in this sector (unlikely). Ironic fact is that benefits of outsourcing should support CLM business model (which they are not benefiting from it would seem) and deter consolidation (the only way to push the Share price up otherwise). Given both these angles, and CLM performace to date, nothing really supports investing in this company - AIMO of course.
EDIT: But there is of course always a gamble when the share price gets stupidly low!! Whats happening today?|
