As Wiganer doesn't seem to be around, I've updated his thread for RIIG:

Links to trades data are still to CLM, as neither the Plus nor LSE sites recognise RIIG yet! Any requests for changes, let me know...

I think there is a large buy order in the background - too much of a rise otherwise IMO. All supposition of course. Could CLM be a take over target?

CLM is mostly traded on Plus Markets these days- see here for details of trades. Decent volume.

The directors put in fairly chunky wadges in the placing in March - money where their mouths are so to speak - at a price of 1.5p a share. They know where CLM is going and I am happy to stay on board for the ride upwards (AIMHO of course).

Chaps,
POSSIBLE SCAM WARNING
Just for info had a phone call from a 'bank in New York' stating they were acting on behalf of a client who was interested in acquiring a controlling stake in Claims People - the guy tried to get from me the number of shares I had (didnt tell him) and went on to say they and their lawyers would prepare the paper work to process the transfer of my shares to them etc etc.

He then only went on to state something along the lines that I should know the company has been 'illegally manipulating shares' without informing shareholders and interested parties so as to prevent their client getting the controlling shares..all very very unbelievable....but it got even better than that...he stated that upon receipt of my share certificates they would wire to my account (yeh, right) the proceeds of the transfer. And then the icing on the cake - his client was prepared to pay a minimum of £30 a share!!!!!!!

So in summary, do be aware that there appears to be some sort of scam going on with CLM share certs 'purchase' being the bait....dont know if the company know about this...quite where these guys get phone numbers and details of shareholdings beats me....

DL
PS at least they could make a believable shareprice.....£30 - that would be nice eh!

So it looks like we are not going to get any more news until about next March when the full results are out, here is the last paragraph from clm results

" With new clients in the insurance sector being gained by each division, the
future looks increasingly positive and the Board looks forward to updating all
shareholders on progress in due course at the time of the full year results, to
be reported next year."

Welcome Mr B. Early days yet, but CLM look to be turning the corner and could position themselves very nicely. Great turnaround performance in H1 with more to come. The new divisions look espececially interesting. In the long term who knows?...this could scale up and become a reasonably-sized company with lots of clients...

I guess a key difference is that we have some idea of the current trading of CLM but until we get a trading update from AQL, we have no idea of current trading other than AIRS had reached breakeven on 13 June 2007.

AQL looks to be higher risk/return than CLM.
