Now that is a nice surprise, 5.4p special divi. I've just bought some more, only 750 but it gives me £63 divi.

The Directors are pleased to declare the first interim dividend for the year
ending 31 December 2006 of 3p per Ordinary Share payable on 30 May 2006 to
Ordinary Shareholders on the Register on 18 April 2006.

The maintenance of a 12p per share dividend per financial year will continue to
be your Board's objective. It is anticipated that these dividends will be paid
in equal instalments in May, August, November and February.


Your Board has declared a Special dividend for the period ended 31 December
2005 of 5.4p per ordinary share which will be paid together with the first
interim dividend of the current year of 3.0p per ordinary share on 30 May 2006
to shareholders on the Register as at 21 April 2006. The special dividend
represents a one-off benefit from the Merger and arises from the deferred tax
asset recognised in these accounts.



The interim XD should be 12/4/06
The special dividend xd should be 19.4.06

The dividend is due in early May I would think it will be 3p.
It is now moving to it's 12 month high.
Shame the name shown is incorrect should be CMHYT

Shareholders on the register on 10 February 2006. The shares will be quoted
ex-dividend on 8 February 2006. This dividend is as proposed in the Scheme
Circular dated 23 September 2005.

As stated in the scheme circular, the special dividend of 4.0p per shares will
be paid on 5 December 2005 to City Merchants Shareholders on the register at
the close of business on 18 November 2005.

No note on advfn after todays suspension x special dividend.

At one stage the offer price at 8 am was 62p offer.

Advfn shows in their financials xd 27.3.05 it went XD today.
4 dividends per year 3p X 4= 12p

This for a long time has been a steady stock for income seakers.
Say £100000 in bank @ 5% 4% net = to £4000 per year
£100000 in CHY @182.5p yield 6.575% =£6573.40
9 year low 145p. 9 year high 200p
