26/9/2009 12:10 | yes. i know people that buy off these boiler rooms...and i tell them not to. I even say ask them if you can sell just a few as they are unaware of the restriction they have. They end up buying more from some sleak salesperson. Its all unregulated and hence why the commissions ar so steep. | 1howie
26/9/2009 11:58 | If you bought the CTS shares 12 months prior it must be a bloody painful wait watching your holding bomb | pelleeds1980
26/9/2009 11:07 | What so your tied in for at least 12 months. Sounds a bit awkward in any case and dont think youd know without doing some research | pelleeds1980
26/9/2009 10:58 | which is all that restrictive stock that the boiler rooms have sold before | 1howie
26/9/2009 10:25 | Taken from their website: * Why are there two ticker symbols in existence and how are they different? All shares in Catalytic Solutions were originally admitted to trading on AIM as CTS restricted or Reg. S shares. The restrictions on the CTS shares are required by the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) since Catalytic Solutions is domiciled in the U.S. As time passes, the restrictions on CTS shares fall away for holders that are not considered "affiliates" of the Company (generally, executives, directors, holders of more than 10% of the outstanding shares). The general rule is that CTS shares are eligible to become unrestricted CTSU shares if they have been in issue for more than 12 months and not held by affiliates. CTSU unrestricted shares are subject to no trading restrictions and can be traded electronically via the CREST settlement platform. CTS shares are restricted or Reg. S shares and subject to certain restrictions on trading. These shares are required to be traded physically via printed certificate (not electronically via CREST or other platforms) and need to be accompanied by certain forms when being sold. | pelleeds1980
26/9/2009 09:20 | seems pointless to have a quote for the restricted stock as you cant sell them until a certain date! | 1howie
