      ACQUISITION OF PLANT INFORMATION MANAGEMENT SYSTEM
       
CADCENTRE  Group plc ('Cadcentre'), the UK-based international
leader in IT systems for the design and engineering of process
and   power   plants,   announces  the  acquisition   of   all
intellectual  property  rights  to  the  Open  Plant  software
formerly  marketed  by  Intelligent  Computer  Solutions   Ltd
(I+C=S),  a private company based in London. The consideration
is up to #430,000 payable in cash over the next two years.

Open  Plant  enables  the  management  and  communication   of
business  objects between different software applications.  It
provides  tool sets for defining, cataloguing and  classifying
objects using the latest standards which are emerging in  this
industry.

Open  Plant  forms  the  basis of Cadcentre's  new  Enterprise
Engineering  Foundation, enabling the rapid implementation  of
systems  integration solutions for the entire plant  lifecycle
and  enterprise-wide  web-based access to  open  and  flexible
information.

This latest IPR acquisition follows a number of deals over the
past   year  which  have  significantly  expanded  Cadcentre's
product range and services reach.

By combining Open Plant with its VANTAGE engineering suite and
utilising  the most complete engineering object model  in  the
world,  Cadcentre  is  now  positioned  to  provide  the  most
comprehensive and flexible engineering information  management
solution available to the market, covering all phases  of  the
plant lifecycle.
