It's going to be very close, but given the strength into 16.30, we possibly should manage it?

You’re changing what you originally said, mike.

I presume that text would have been sent out by your CP, not from BT (Openreach) who would merely be the contractor to your provider. It’s them you should be asking what’s going on, not questioning BT.

Any charge would come from your network provider, not the BT engineer, and besides, they should never charge you if you weren’t the one reporting a fault.

As for ‘’another easy way for bogus callers to get into your home?’’ would you really let someone you were unsure about into your house to do work you didn’t understand or ask for to be done? No, neither would I.

txt, a BT engineer is on the way to sort out your line fault
sent out to people without even a BT line!
another easy way for bogus callers to get into your home?
not so easy to challenge a txt message, and a £129 charge

I don't even remember taking out an Amazon prime free membership
yet they have taken £79 out of many accounts according to one of the UK's
largest tv retailers, and then all the hassle of getting refund
local bank politely says its a naughty trick ,but how many would miss this
on a large bank statement, and with no account numbers to refer to, and be able to cancel
such an agreement

Good to see that recent intra-day high has been bettered.

A closed above 311.9 would also be a positive step.

Disagree, the guy speaks with authority and knows sweet FA. He provokes ill feeling by pushing his latest swing trade ideas which are usually adrift from the market. Presumably you are aware of the old adage about empty vessels etc! Must say that the filter button makes for a better life :).
