Do yourselves a favour and filter montyhedge. I have been trading shares for years and suspect he is either a child or an adult with mental health issues. His postings are always the same, he starts off either ramping a stock or warning of huge impending falls, he will then flip and do a 360 degree turn. I have him filtered so I don't know what he is posting on here. Follow his advice at your peril.

Woodford has lost the plot, quite honestly any fool could have achieved what he has done, stick to the knitting, buy global mega caps in the consumer fields with relatively wide moats, particularly pharmas, tobacco and food producers such as Unilever. If they fail to deliver they get taken over, pay a juicy dividend, and the investor wins every time! These celebrity fund managers are paid fortunes to do something relatively simple, he can get away with murder by investing large sums in ALM, CPI, etc, and losing big, it is a still a tiny proportion of overall assets under management!

BT a cash cow, though. Dividend 20% growth next two years, then 6% growth.I see Woodford started a new fund today, funny if he bought back in. He liked it at 435p surely at 310p he must love it. Lol

Ita a long time since I saw any 'good' publicity
Seems everyone and his dog are having a go at BT

Here is the latest nibble

A district judge has fined the telecommunications giant BT £6,000 - after contractors failed to set up essential safety measures for roadworks.

At the Rickergate magistrates' court in Carlisle, British Telecommunications Plc entered guilty pleas to three offences relating to work in High Street, Workington in September and October of last year.

The charges spelled out the nature of the failing.

They said BT had failed to ensure the roadworks were properly guarded and lit, or equipped with signage to help pedestrians.

The needs of disabled people in particular were not addressed.

The court was told that since the offences were committed, BT had put in place additional safeguards, and had increased safety refresher courses for its contractors.

Jen - A big apology to you, it certainly was last week. Not quite on the ball at the moment, combined with lack of a visit to specsavers caused me to perceive the date as Mar 17 - Duhhhh. I'll get my wife to punish me later ..lol

It was Thursday of last week actually (my mistake). Not sure how you make Wednesday or Thursday of last week, "three weeks ago" - though I concede, I am very much looking forward to your explaination.

Good news perhaps, is represented by the 'juicy dividend' (which Monty has so frequently referred to in the past). It's still growing 10% year on year -
- as I'm sure he'll remind us, once he changes his mind any day now...

So if all goes to plan, 20% increase in dividend next two years, then 6% after that. Gavin better deliver.

None of those things harvester, mutley is merely a paid broker stooge, his job is to provide antagonistic dialog on behalf of his paymasters, in so doing create a state of uncertainty within the mind's of weak and easily influenced traders.

Edit: re post 22997, I rest my case!
