DumThe figures are due shortly, now if that dividend is increase by 10% that Patterson promised, then you would see 335p I think.

DumSpiroVery hard to say, when I see a chart that 93% of clients who trade BT are long, normally they are long and wrong.Telecoms very weak and out of favour. Vod been falling as well.I think Vod under 200p look good.

Monty, Well done with your prediction of the pull back from the 12% jump after the January low. I had not expected it to come back to this level again.Hope the trades worked out well for you. When do you expect it will start rising again?

I see spike to 295p, if we get a couple of bad days for the FTSE 100. BT in a closed period, fund managers on holidays, bear hedgies know this. That's my view.

Chart suggesting a reasonable break-out back up today!

We'll see............

£3 area looks solid support at present. However if it fails to hold even though to me the shares are already undervalued we could still see further falls, share prices can remain "irrational/ out of favour"for long periods of time and the way the rally has halted so soon is a concern.Imo.

One tad of good news and we will have the biggest double bottom on the chart.

I now can't afford the time to day trade, so I buy with longer-term (6-12 month) investment horizons. Happy to buy at these levels for (IMHO) a 20% upside by calendar year-end. We may well see it go sub 300, but upside outweighs this. Confident that we will see 350 before we see 280. Sentiment weighing heavily - but this can turn on a sixpence (or new shaped £ coin). Good luck all!

DSS I certainly agree with your 30 to 50% over a 2 year period. Couple of months back I brought at 302 and sold about 347ish, if I buy back again will probably hold for dividend and growth. Good luck.

M, I don't expect to buy at the lowest point or sell at the highest but having taken a position end of January I feel confident I made a smart decision that will deliver 30-50% total return over 2 years. Will be happy with that :)Good luck.

Expect more Bulls (NOT SHEEP) will start buying BT using their new tax year ISA allowance starting tomorrow and it will start rising again.More sustainable rise will come after the results on 11th May when a lot of the current uncertainty is removed and more investors recognise the intrinsic value and 5% yield with potential takeover upside.Would not be surprised to see some current bears turn bulls in the not too distant future.Good luck all.

Bulls been acting like sheep buying this all the way down, thinking they have caught the low. We all know what happens to sheep, they get slaughtered in the end.Under 300p when we have a couple of bad days for the FTSE 100.

Just a thought on article posted by MJ19 above - it mentions what is said to be BT's "pension liability of almost 6.4 billion" - the pension "liability" usually means (my understanding) that if and the word is "if" a company had to close up shop today then they would be liable to honour pensions to employees to the value of the liability - but reality is that this "liability" is/will be spread across years and years decades possibly and every single company has such "liabilities" and it does not make them any less worthy (ie liabilities will depend on the size of your workforce surely - however - the other measure on pensions would be "deficit" which would be a current gap in the total liability that the company had to its pension members and even a deficit in the pension liability can be closed by any investments having a tick up so again is not always something that should scare the horses so to speak
Cheers

Massive value will eventually be recognised and still expect it will end 2017 closer to 400 than 300.Good luck whatever your perspective and strategy.

Massive stale bull position built up, Everyman and he's dog been buying BT all the way down. I see 295p when stop losses are triggered if this keeps falling.
