Results were due in November from both caustic fusion analysis of drill samples from the kimberlite exploration, and from the alluvial diamond feasibility study at Santo Antonio do Bonito. Recent buying suggests they may be on their way.

this share price has been potentially subdued by the issuing of a convertible loan note and the subsequent shorting of the stock price by the convertible hedge fund desks. With the convertible stock now converted into shares this should recover in due coure to reach previous high........as the fundamentals are still good........up in canada last night I see.....

Nearly 1.3mio traded ..closed 30-35cts..strong support and.feeling a bit more comfortable after todays performance. If this large seller is finished the price should improve from these levels.

just came across the bruce rowan view as of august...

Brazilian Diamonds Limited - (AIM: BDY)

Brazilian Diamonds is starting to benefit from the diamond exploration data
bases acquired in cash and shares from De Beers, which is now a 3% shareholder.
This deal was funded by an earlier £1.8 million placing of shares and by the
disposal of a 16% interest it held in Hidefield. As a result, Brazilian
Diamonds expects to start mining diamonds in 2006 from its 200,000 hectares in
Minas Gerias, a province south of Brasilia. Other projects may also soon be
productive: its Canastra licences await clearance from the Federal Environment
Agency; drilling on its Tuscano 1 project has successfully intercepted
kimberlite; two further projects on the Santo Antonio de Bonito River north of
Canastra could yet yield a large-scale alluvial diamond mine, the kimberlite
source of which Brazilian Diamonds may have located separately. Brazilian
Diamonds seems to have a realistic chance of becoming Brazil's first kimberlite
diamond producer.

Call me an old cynic but...
Many of these small mining company directors (and some large ones) can sometimes take on the characteristics of snakes....ie. they abandon their old skins when the new one has grown. Unfortunately the cross ownership and management of Canadian mining minnows is more incestuous and inbred than downtown redneck Arkansas.

Having met JP from HIF I'd be very surprised Airy if your theory is right. I am however not an investor in BDY

(see latest news release)Wonderful news for Hidefield Gold ... especially as BDY sold off nearly all of their share holding (11.1mio) in HIF at 4.5p (now 6.5p) to the directors and their chums in January.
