17/10/2006 17:21 | We all know the risk reward ratio for a deiamond exploration company. If BDY opens up Canasta the share price will start to move, but these small snippets are almost counter productive because they are not the main play IMHO. | holism
17/10/2006 16:46 | Hmm. Every time there is a good RNS item, the price goes down. Something is amiss. | arf dysg
17/10/2006 15:30 | Brazilian Diamonds L Brazilian Diamonds makes 'significant' micro-diamond find at Regis pipe LONDON (AFX) - AIM-listed Brazilian Diamonds Ltd (BDY) said it has found "significant" micro-diamond counts from a series of deep diamond drill tests of the Regis kimberlite pipe in central Minas Gerais, Brazil. The company said 129 micro-diamonds were recovered. Chairman Kenneth P. Judge said: "We believe that the recovery of significant micro-diamond counts from the deep drilling of the Regis kimberlite represents confirmation of the importance of our Regis exploration programme. "It further validates our regional exploration geologic model which is currently being applied to several other important targets within the Company's portfolio in Minas Gerais." | oldskoolraver

17/10/2006 14:32 | This company has been promising so much for so long...with the share price dying a slow death in the meantime. Maybe, if the latest RNS is true, it may signal the start of a change of fortune for BDY and its long-suffering shareholders. (ps What we need is a few 1st class bb rampers to get this thing kickstarted :-)) | airymatt
17/10/2006 13:47 | At these levels with things moving forward must be a good bet for the future. Will add and hold...Chance to get in at a low price instead of when it is too late. | mickeyvino
17/10/2006 12:58 | Not so sure that the find is of sufficient proven significance yet - will monitor. | spaceparallax
17/10/2006 12:30 | last time the company found a significant diamond the share price retreated. | holism
17/10/2006 11:28 | Yes, just added. It will be interesting to see what happens when BDY opens in Canada as the market seems bigger there. | dogberry202000

20/9/2006 12:45 | The stock market is a perverse place. BDY has just reported finding alluvial diamonds in the Santo Antonio River and the price is going down. The mind boggles. I'm definitely going to buy these when I find some spare cash. A question of geography - I have a large-scale map of Brazil and I've been looking at the area. I can find a river labelled Sao Antonio and I suspect that's the same thing, because Santo is the Spanish word (for saint) but Sao is the Portuguese word. I can't find anything called "Santo Antonio do Bonito". Can anyone comment on this? Funnily enough, the river comes from a small mountain range and slightly farther North in that range I can find a town called Diamantina. I wonder why it has that name? It sounds promising. I can find other names mentioned in the company announcements, like their regional office in Patos Minas, and the Abaete valley. There are lots of little symbols meaning "mine" in the area. | arf dysg

17/9/2006 11:30 | I must admit, that 120-hectare cluster of kimberlite pipes with almost no exploration done on it to date sounds very impressive. | arf dysg
16/9/2006 14:47 | And so it should be! Been adding when funds allow. If things go right and they make a big discovery this one could be a forty to fifty bagger. | dogberry202000
16/9/2006 13:33 | This is a long-term investment and looks very interesting. At 11p or thereabouts, market cap seems to be £16m. This one's on my radar. | arf dysg
13/9/2006 09:04 | holism - at least De Beers are willing to take BDY shares | vermilion1966
13/9/2006 09:01 | Why didn't De Beers want it? Still, seems cheap @ $150K, although for existing shareholders dilution is almost inevitable. Let's see what happens to the share price | vermilion1966
13/9/2006 08:59 | This one goes on and on. When are we going to get some proper news? | holism |
