Just proves how 0.6p each (high) 1 month ago was a good price, when the price for issue probably agreed? and without consideration of shareholders who (I for one)were expecting corporate action to enhance our sorry state, not kick us further down the hill and reduce our value by 33% overnight..................
Or am I being unfair?

Wonder if it is a subtle move by ORA to get more control prior to creating real value ??
Usual thing on aim .When long standing pi,s are just about to get just rewards issue a load of shares and dilute them to infinity .
Anyway my target of .40p still looks possible .Slowly slowly ?

If that's the best they could of done they should of sold the wax shares and wound up the company and sent the more than .5p back to shareholders or step down and let somebody do the job properly, it's a disgrace that placing at that price and shame on them that done it.

I wonder why they didn't wait till wsx drill was further advanced, and their price recovered a bit.

I don't even think david bramhill would of done a placing at .4p a and diluted the company by 100%

A perfect example of shareholder destruction and greed.

And by shareholders I am talking about ordinary people not the suits that lurk in the shadows.

amazed there are almost no trades and the price hasnt moved - either everyone is out and everyone is in.....or the market doesnt care!

We are still sitting on our cash price, no doubt ORA capital took the shares

This should be the low point and the place were the share should rise as plans must be advanced

I just hope they don't feel the need now to give themselves and any new directors cheap options.

Sold my last 200k for .46p the day results announced .
Not happy with enormous admin bill .
not sure the expenses will improve with talk of [investment team] coming .
If we need a new team what have we been paying directors for up to now ??
That said if I can,I will buy in at .40p because they must surely be going to do something soon .

Well now we know that after 470m share issued @ 0.4p where the shareholders
actually stand, as I did not see any paperwork offering me shares, otherwise
it need not have bought @ 50% higher earlier this year...........The amount
that the Director (£25k) paid out just about matches my original investment
a couple of years ago @ flotation.

Placing raising £1.88M



Bluebird Energy plc ("Bluebird" or "the Company") announces that it has placed 470m new ordinary shares with investors at a price of 0.4p per share, raising a total of £1.88m



The net proceeds of the Placing will provide additional working capital as the Company proceeds with its strategy of diversifying into other business sectors which are perceived as offering better investor returns on net assets.



James Ede-Golightly, Chairman, has invested £25,000 and Gordon Hall, senior non executive director, has invested £10,000 in the Placing. The independent director, Brian Marshall, who is not participating in the Placing and having consulted WH Ireland, the Company's nominated adviser, considers that the directors' participation is fair and reasonable insofar as the interests of shareholders are concerned.



Application has been made for the new ordinary shares to be admitted to AIM. It is expected that the admission will take place and dealings in the new ordinary shares will commence with effect from Friday 15 March 2013.

Not too happy tbh that this placing has been made so soon after the results and 1) was at a discount (not that unusual I admit) 2) existing shareholders were no able to participate and 3) no detailed strategy update was given to justify the placing. I can only presume something is in the works..

I thought the results were good and I liked the fact we still have £1m cash left which proves to me the the current management are being prudent. We have cash and shares of a value of .5p per share which is exellent
