corby i have just found out something else on the eland links with bluebird that is worth a look,firstly eland oil and gas used to have an office in the same building as bluebird energy in Mansell street london even though they are headquartered in scotland.Bluebird chairman james ede golightly was recently appointed to the board of directors of eland oil and gas and eland also just announced they are opening a new office in london, bluebird have just changed offices to another london site and wouldn,t it be a remarkable coincidence if that office was in the same location as the new Eland oil and gas london office?

The plot thickens :-)

frac...i think your post shows why that huge trade today should raise more than a few eyebrow,s and as i said earlier i have never been able to get a quote for more than 1m shares here yet the trade today was for 11m and published as an ordinary trade.In reality only an II or director can buy at those levels.

Interesting times ahead here IMVHO

sinatrasmile,well the info is there if you look for it and i think alot more is going on here than appears the case,am now going to dig into the relationship between the City financier Richard Griffiths and BBE , ELA , ORA and james ede golightly as he could be the moneyman pulling some strings.

euclid,,lol nice try with your deramp again,quite the opposite actually as they could cash in existing investments and use current cash to easily aquire a new asset or a percentage.My hunch is they will buy into a producing asset and their chairman james ede golightly will make sure its a tasty one (check his record and who he is connected with ).

But how much cash or placing will they require to buy some valauble appreciating asset - £1m odd in the cash a/c is chicken feed in today's market - they will need a cash call - take it from me

euclid,,what shaun was trying to say was they have already provided shareholder value when they paid a special dividend before,it is unusual for a small company to return the whole of an investment back to holders so shows there are some good guys behind this outfit.With what they have in cash and assets they have more than enough to get into a bigger producing asset if they choose without dilution.

I noted the earlier posts on eland oil&gas and the chairman here :-) this could well be significant IMVHO

BBE might just buy at stake in various assets and may not need to issue shares. Anyway shareholders do not mind new shares if it is for the right investment.

ask yourselves how much cash have they available to purchase assets & if not much then you will get diluted with placings - & already over 514m shs in issue
