i've been a regular in all Blue planet IT's but the volatility of BPW is breathtaking. I got out this morning at 2.51. long term I'm sure there's growth here but thought there may be another low to take advantage of.

takes a nice rise north then due to the FTSE tanking in the last hour, the share price drops....amazing.......looking to dip my toes in here or BLP.

I tried to sell at 4:30 on 26th at 2.60, after nav discount hadn't risen but I was about a minute too late. so I'm in for the bounce. So long as the spread dosen't go back to levels a year ago I'll be okay

Well I bought last at 2.40 odd and sold at 3.12 and I am got my hand on the buy button - there is no bad news or reason - just profit taking.

cannot say we've reached the bottom but at least it's now at a discount to assets, which puts it on my shopping list again.
I expect the discount to increase when next nav reported, Sber doing okay.

The share price of BPW didn't rise above NAV until approx 20/11/06.

Since then NAV has risen approx 10% and share price has risen approx 28%,and
yet the holdings between BLP and BPW have neve been closer in the 15 mths i've been following them both.

BLP NAV has also risen 10% during this period,but its shareprice has only risen 16% approx.

Look at BLP,virtually the same holdings (apart from Brazil),yet at a 10% discount to NAV.I would hope that at some point (in the not too distant future)they will converge
