09/2/2007 15:23 | These shares are tightly held and only 21M in issue. Smallish buys make quite a big difference. Be good if we could finish the week above 150. | tratante
09/2/2007 13:49 | Looks like the Sp is heating up now. | blackbear
08/2/2007 13:36 | well I know nothing about XEN, but BII are not about to hit the buffers. They have leading products on sale in ever increasing markets, they have exciting things in development and progress with those is looking good on several fronts. They also have a lot of cash (£37M) in the bank. DYOR | tratante
08/2/2007 13:28 | IC said XEN were good value just before XEN hit the buffers. | prallum
08/2/2007 11:04 | Yes looked like its was building up yesterday. Be nice it recovered as fast as it fell a couple of months ago! | tratante
08/2/2007 08:45 | Some sort of breakout forming on the chart. | blackbear
07/2/2007 10:36 | Lots of small sells over recent days mopped up by a few large buys. Someone accumulating? | tratante
29/1/2007 22:24 | LOL - they do sometimes get it right by chance! | tratante
28/1/2007 18:47 | Apparently BII mentioned in IC today as "good value". SELL SELL SELL | scribbler101
26/1/2007 09:33 | Only what you can read in the header and the posts above. DYOR but I think these are cheap anywhere under £2. | tratante

25/1/2007 15:35 | Is this in a breakout chart wise.. maybe 140p was considered a barrier. | blackbear
25/1/2007 07:05 | There is also great potential in the bead block treatment for uterine fibroids. This condition does not have the mortality of liver cancer, but consider the benefits to patient, health service, and the economy of obviating the need for a hysterectomy and the subsequent often lengthy recovery time. | tratante
24/1/2007 23:16 | RE the latest phase 11 trial results. Colorectal cancer is the 3rd commonest cancer in the western world. With our ageing populations the incidence is rising. Many of the deaths are due to spread to the liver because to date, there was no effective treatment. In the control group patients were given TLC (tender loving care) and 73% died within the study time frame. In the treated group only 13% died - quite a staggering difference, even allowing for small numbers. Most patients reported an improvement in quality of life as well, meaning that the treatment is well-tolerated. The potential of this treatment is stunning and the market size is absolutely huge. | oharebj
23/1/2007 08:16 | I wonder if people still see this as a stent dependent company, which is why the fall following the Abbott news was so dramatic. In my view it was seriously overdone, the bead technologies are the key to bii. | tratante
22/1/2007 17:50 | I have some experience working in the field - this trading statement is quite phenomonal. Obviously stage 111 trials will be required but colorectal CA with liver mets is very common and treatments to date have been largely ineffective. The potential market is extremely large | oharebj
22/1/2007 14:12 | * Drug Eluting Beads at ASCO GI * Positive Comparative Data in Metastatic Colorectal Cancer | plutonian
21/1/2007 17:40 | Am I right that if BII have 37 million shares in issue and 37 million in cash, the rest of the company is worth 20p? Must be some upside here I would have thought. | tratante |
