                       Appointment of a director

The board of Biocare Solutions Plc is pleased to announce the appointment of
William van Klaveren as non executive director following today's AGM.

Mr van Klaveren held several senior management positions with Reckitt & Colman
plc (now Reckitt Benckiser) mainly on the household product side, becoming in
turn MD of Denmark, Italy, and The Netherlands, as well as Mexico and Central
America. He was also Regional Director for Latin America and has worked in
Corporate Planning at Group HQ.

Since leaving Reckitt & Colman in 1999, he has worked in management consultancy
with PMI and with Food Equity Management NV in venture capital.

Stuart Anderson, Chairman of Biocare, welcoming Mr van Klaveren to the Board
said:

"We are delighted that William has agreed to join the board of Biocare. His
extensive international experience in household products will be of great value
to Biocare as we expand our range of all natural cleaning products from our
current operating facilities in Italy, the UK and the Far East. Having worked
directly with him for a number of years I know he will make a very valuable
addition to strengthen our Board."

Directorships held by William Robert Cheney van Klaveren, aged 63, now and over
the five years preceding the date of appointment are as follows:

There are no other matters which are required to be announced as required under
paragraph (g) of Schedule 2 of the AIM Rules.
