BIL FINANCE LIMITED CAPITAL NOTES WITH AN ELECTION DATE OF 15 OCTOBER 2007
("2007 CAPITAL NOTES") AND CESSATION OF LISTING OF BIL FINANCE LIMITED

BIL International Limited ("BIL") and BIL Finance Limited ("BFL") wish to
announce that BIL will be exercising its option, under condition 4.5 of the
conditions applicable to the 2007 Capital Notes, to purchase for cash on 15
October 2007 (the "Election Date") the 2007 Capital Notes on issue (those
capital notes on issue having an election date of 15 October 2007).

BIL will, on 15 October 2007, pay to the holders of 2007 Capital Notes for each
such capital note an amount equal to the aggregate of the principal amount,
accrued and unpaid interest (if any) as at the Election Date.

As the 2007 Capital Notes are the last of the capital notes issued by BFL quoted
on the New Zealand Debt Market, once the 2007 Notes have been purchased, BFL
will have no reason to remain listed with New Zealand Exchange Limited ("NZX").
Accordingly, BFL has given notice to NZX under NZSX and NZDX Listing Rule 5.4.1
(b) requesting that, from the close of trading on 15 October 2007, BFL ceases to
be listed with NZX. On 27 August 2007, NZX Regulation approved the cessation of
BFL's listing as at the close of business on 15 October 2007, conditional on
settlement of any outstanding NZX invoices by the time of cessation of listing.
Accordingly, BFL expects that it will cease to be listed as of close of business
on 15 October 2007.
