1.Estimate - 3rd Qtr - 26 Oct - not confirmed.
2.Who knows? Only if bid is based on prospects two years out.
3.Cash is tight.If Bede had another £1-2m in bank market would relax and concentrate more on future potential:X-ray becoming metrology of choice with nodes shrinking to 45nm;Bede's tools being used in-line hopefully sometime in 2008.

I agree that Bede "has fantastic products with enormous potential".Hopefully shareholders will be patient as just one or two in-line tool orders in 2008 would transform the company and the share price would rocket.

I have just very recently bought shares in Bede. I was previously a shareholder for a brief period in 2005 but watched them fall from my purchase price of around 35p to 19p before I sold out after disappointing results.

I like the company and I think it has fantastic products with enormous potential. But they need to deliver good results on a consistent basis. I think the shares are ridiculously cheap at present.

I have some questions which I hope someone can maybe answer:-

1. When are the next quarterly results due?
2. What are people's expectations for the conclusion of the prelim talks? For
shareholder value, is it better that Bede is bought out now or given a
chance to prosper and grow on it's own in the longer term?
3. What is fair value for Bede based on previous results/most recent trading
statement?

Sorry for my questions but any answers would be appreciated. Thank you

The 250,000 share transaction this morning was a purchase.Peter O'Reilly increased his shareholding to 2,265,000(2.59%)

EPT=Exempt Principal Trader.Evolution is Bede's housebroker and as Bede is in take-over talks with several parties Evolution has to disclose any dealings it has in it's client,Bede.

PRICE MARKED UP TO 6.00-6.50,....despite a sell of 250000. Can't be too long
now before another upward leg.....well thats what it looks and feels like to me. You have all been warned long enough now.

Yes yes....i know all that i"ve been in the city since 1985.....
Every stock has a number of market makers...smaller stocks may only have two...while the bigger mkt caps could have ten.

All i"m saying is that regardless of who has or hasn"t turned their bloody computer on, the first quote that pops up may be showing the way......you know... gut feeling or voodoo or something like that!!

All that happens is that a mm hasnt put up his price. Try subscribing to advfn level 2 and you will see what I mean. Its well worth it.

BIKWIK - That simple indicates that one of the market makers has a spread of e.g. 6 - 7, another will have 5.75 - 6.75...etc... its purely timings of who switches on their computer first as to what figure you see... I'll do a check later today of online limits but previously could buy up to 150k online on extended settlement at mid price
