I have more on spread bets than actual ($/btc), IG has 1% spread. I seem no good at trading but in reasonable profit even after today. Am just holding and paying the daily interest. I will just hold.

There is a chance of a big profit because of this:


If it's correct, no idea of chances, then big $ fall will give a good profit on long bets.

almost all the alt coins have hit their top and dropping. I've been shorting and looking to short some more some of the bigger coins. xmr could be a excellent short.

so some of the pop in btc could be dollars finding a home.

Quite a sudden rise but how does such a wide difference in prices manage to persist. At the moment between $585 and $606 and been like that for at least 2 minutes and gap showing no sign of narrowing?

listening to some for presentations by monero and dash - there's considerable eavesdropping (by who they don't know) to see which IP are being used to buy and sell. so we can expect from that the boys are watching....

are vpn's now an essential must have?

monero another anon transaction coin - has gone up massively over the last week. almost doubling overnight to mc of € 82,504,826 .

i'm reading that silk road type shops are now taking it over btc.

landed on trend line support (over it but now positive). I say short term we're ok.

I've been shorting ETH due to it being split (called a hard fork) - now there are two of them ETH and Etherium Classic ETC. candy from a baby.

Broker may be the wrong word, I think just an individual that buys and sells bitcoins. However for me he beat the best quote on localbitcoins.com

The spread on there is £505.00/513.36 at the moment. Putting offers in within that spread would seem a good idea but you'd probably need to build up a reputation first?

For trading, or perhaps hedging, IG have a spread that's usually $5. Minimum 10 BTC.
