Posted at 10/4/2024 17:29 by chinese investor I'm with HL and the Preference Shares are correctly listed in my ISA and non ISA accounts together with my AST Holdings. Also they are both correctly listed in my Bell's SIPP Account. |
Posted at 10/4/2024 13:32 by epo001 Can anyone with an AST ISA holding actually see the new shares in one of their accounts? If so, which broker, which account? |
Posted at 10/4/2024 12:11 by epo001 My ISA holding is with AJ Bell, I also have a trading account as I use that to pay fees. There is no AST holding shown there, should there be? |
Posted at 06/4/2024 16:40 by knockcocker I still haven't heard anything re: the preference shares. Not sure if it's because I hold my shares in an ISA and/or that I sold out of AST a couple of days after the qualification date. Anyone else heard anything? |
Posted at 28/2/2024 10:16 by chinese investor linesal2,They say you should never fall in love with a share but I feel AST is a part of my family.....probably the most expensive part if truth be told ! |
Posted at 20/2/2024 07:38 by bad gateway Deadline for preference shares was 6pm last night so thats done. ATB for the win for those holding those. For new investors though too late for that, if AST do win their case and get paid in however many years it takes the co. will be flush with cash and the market cap of the co. will rise til then its a case of how do they raise funds for their proposed South American mining plans in the meantime? Next update should be key on reasons to invest I'd of thought? |
Posted at 06/2/2024 16:59 by linesal2 somebody stated to sell on the 17th Feb after the exercise date.when AST releases the RNS that they have won damages (which they will) the share price will rocket, so why would any sane individual sell on the 17th Feb when they will have a massive increase plus the special dividend? If they can not afford the risk then fair play, but for me they will stay in the draw until the positive conclusion which will definitely prevail. AIMHO. |
Posted at 09/1/2024 17:39 by linesal2 I am still topping up, I appreciate now a higher risk but so is the potential reward. It just seems very convenient for Geo to file for insolvency just as they are about to get a big claim to pay, this stinks of the government colluding with Geo, I am sure AST's lawyers will be putting that forward along with the criminal case for the directors. I believe if production had stopped AST would have suspended the shares. |
Posted at 26/9/2023 11:49 by linesal2 Doubt they will let it go the full range, As the costs will increase along with the interest. these are usually settled out of court and I doubt this will be any different. Slovenia is always stiffed by its own government officials (they have a track record). the way AST has been treated is outrageous and no court will find against AST, and the cancelation of any type of fracking was the slam dunk.so they actually paid £50m+ for a piece of land that they said they could extract the gas and then would not allow them to, but kept them stringing along for years without making a decision, when any information was available it was given to the press firstly not AST. and granting permission to build a new plant but not give permission to re-stimulate the existing wells was just a way to stick their fingers up to AST, We will have the last laugh and sooner rather than later.
