Posting of Annual Report and Notice of Annual General Meeting

The Company's Annual Report and Accounts for the financial year ended 31 July 2017, the Notice of Annual General Meeting and Form of Proxy have been posted to shareholders today. Copies are also available on the Company's website at www.appliedgraphenematerials.com.

The date of the Annual General Meeting has been changed and will be held on Wednesday, 3 January 2018 at 11.00a.m. at the The Farndale Room, The Wilton Centre, Redcar, Cleveland, TS10 4RF. The Notice of the Meeting and an explanation of the business to be conducted at the Annual General Meeting are set out in a separate document sent to shareholders, as noted above. Any shareholder intending to attend the Meeting is advised to arrive early, and well before 11.00 a.m., in order to allow time to pass through The Wilton Centre's security and admissions procedure.

Applied Graphene Materials was founded by Professor Karl Coleman in 2010 with its operations and processes based on technology that he initially developed at Durham University. The Group is based at the Wilton Site on Teesside and was admitted to AIM in November 2013, initially raising GBP11 million.

The Group has developed proprietary bottom-up processes which are capable of producing high purity graphene nanoplatelets using a continuous process. The manufacturing processes are based on sustainable, readily available raw materials and therefore do not rely on the supply of graphite, unlike a number of other graphene production techniques. Applied Graphene Materials owns the intellectual property and know-how behind these processes.
