17/4/2015 10:17 | The revenue from KN-1 won't cover admin costs / the running of the company. i.e. They will still make a loss year on year. | ngms27
17/4/2015 09:22 | The math's what? | jacks13
17/4/2015 09:13 | It won't even keep the lights on if you do the math's | ngms27
17/4/2015 09:03 | The sock has been traded sideways and consolidated for a while now.. whilst sentiment in the sector has been weak. Crude brent now $63.84 The next few months will be pivotal..as has been spoken on here before either capitulation/inflect c.$10 million per/annum from Kiliwani will only keep the lights on. Ntorya-2 will have to be drilled sooner or later. Good luck. | foolsandcows
17/4/2015 08:32 | haggis do you think so? Surely potential farm-in investors would be persuaded by the endless speculative tittle-tattle and ignorant optimistic nonsense posted here? | skinwalker
17/4/2015 06:03 | Cynical - yeah, that the proof isn't it. I don't think it shows they have nothing of interest I guess it's just not utterly compelling and obviously risk free compared to everything else out there (including doing nothing). A clear route to market should hopefully raise some interest. 6 weeks before the end of 1H so hopefully not too long before we hear about the reason why production is delayed and will happen some time in 2H. | bunbooster2
17/4/2015 02:29 | Because they want more proof first, obviously. | haggismchaggis
16/4/2015 19:17 | why has nobody actually been interested in farming in here? Strange if they really have anything of real imterest? | thecynical1
15/4/2015 18:52 | I think they will get a good offer for Nyuni + Kiliwani and take the cash to concentrate on the easier and cheaper to drill Ruvuma license. The top contender is right next door to the Nyuni license. | haggismchaggis
15/4/2015 17:17 | Any thought about Nyuni farmout or free carry? I think this if a suitor is found would be a desirable option. Also Fanjove island is in KNDL for a possible drill.. | foolsandcows
15/4/2015 11:22 | I agree, proving Ntorya is the value outer here. There has to be technical dispersions around the quality of Ntorya though given the thin reservoir intersected and the fact that no one has farmed in after seeing the data. Also agreed the liquids would be very valuable. | ngms27
15/4/2015 11:14 | 23Km from Ntorya-1 28Km from Ntorya-2 to the main pipeline. The prospect of a liquids play is a positive. If Aminex were to be successful and de-risk Ntorya the company would be with the institutions. True value would out.. | foolsandcows
15/4/2015 10:58 | Well back in the peak prices something like $340m per TCF deep water was paid by purchasers. Something is only valued at what someone is prepared to pay for it. I think the deep water stuff whilst more expensive to develop is allocated for export so potentially more lucrative with LNG whilst onshore is deemed for local markets so around $3 per mcf | ngms27
15/4/2015 10:42 | So what value could be placed on Ntorya if the Ntorya-2 well is successful in proving up lets say half the GIIP. | blackgold00
15/4/2015 10:42 | Nope you cannot. KN-1 is hooked up for imminent production, Ntorya requires the building of a Gas Plant to remove the liquids and 30KM plus of pipeline to hook up to the new one. | ngms27
15/4/2015 10:27 | You could estimate based on sale of 6.5% KNDL to Solo for $3.5 million.. That our 58.5% share of 45BCF at KNDL is valued c. $31.5m ($28m after sale of final 6.5%) That our 75% share of 178BCF at Ntorya is valued c. $160 | foolsandcows
15/4/2015 09:35 | 223BCF is booked reserves...good luck! | foolsandcows
15/4/2015 09:17 | You actually stated: Wentworth raised $46 million after a reserves report for 11.4 Tcf gross discovered and undiscovered mean Gas Initially-in-Place Lets be very clear. There is a massive difference between Reserves and Contingent Resources / undiscovered GIIP Reserves are the amount of technically and economically extractable resources. AEX have something around 200 BCF. Contingent Resources are two a penny and carry little value in this market and certainly won't be used by a bank to lend monies. | ngms27
15/4/2015 09:09 | "Exxon Mobil Corp. Chief Executive Rex Tillerson was paid $33 million in 2014, up 18% from $28 million the year before." I bet he sleeps well PJ. | gerryjames
15/4/2015 09:03 | Don't be silly...the Ntorya appraisal area alone has resource estimates of 2.3 Tcf (Pmean GIIP). Patience ;) | foolsandcows
15/4/2015 08:46 | foolsandcows, Have you compared AEX reserves against Wentworth? AEX have around 200BCF at present... | ngms27
15/4/2015 08:36 | Morning GJ, hope you made some £££ Didnt sleep well ( I rarely do) so maybe unknowingly yes. Other than that all OK. Just dont talk to me | pj 1
15/4/2015 08:33 | In a mood this morning PJ? Lol. You know how the game works, some would say it's good financial management and brokerage. I wish all the Companies at HH the very best, especially ALBA. | gerryjames |
