ALEXON GROUP PLC RECOMMENDED OFFER FOR STYLE HOLDINGS PLC

Further to the announcement of the level of acceptances
of the Offer earlier today, the board of Alexon is
pleased to announce that the London Stock Exchange has,
in accordance with paragraph 7.1 of the Listing Rules,
admitted the New Alexon Shares to be issued in connection
with the Offer to the Official List and therefore the
recommended Offer by Dresdner Kleinwort Benson on behalf
of Alexon to acquire the whole of the issued and to be
issued share capital of Style has now become wholly
unconditional.  The Offer will remain open for acceptance
until further notice.

Style Shareholders who wish to accept the Offer and have
not yet done so should return their completed Forms of
Acceptance as soon as possible. Style Shareholders who
have enquiries regarding the completion of Forms of
Acceptance should contact Lloyds TSB Registrars by post
