              Appointment of David Adams as Non-Executive Director 
 
Alexon Group plc announces that David Adams has been appointed a Non-Executive 
Director with effect from 1st September 2010. 
 
David is currently Chairman of Jessops plc and was previously Deputy CEO and 
Group Finance Director at House of Fraser plc (1997 - 2006), Group Finance 
Director at Texas Homecare (1993 - 1995) and Divisional Finance Director and 
Group Planning Roles at Burton Group (1986 - 1993). His core strengths lie in 
refinancing business, property strategy and managing process for sales and 
acquisitions. 
 
David is also a Non-Executive Director at JJB plc Sports and the British Retail 
Consortium (Trading). He is also a Non-Executive Director and Trustee at Walk 
the Walk. 
 
Richard Handover, Chairman of Alexon, said: 
 
"David has been involved at an executive level in the retail sector for many 
years, having instigated and delivered significant changes in our industry. He 
has worked with a wide range of businesses and achieved great success in a wide 
variety of roles.

There are no further details required to be disclosed pursuant to Listing Rule 
9.6.13 in connection with David Adam's appointment.
