16/3/2018 09:30 | Against all of my limited wisdom. I have just bought some of these they are a complete gamble. But lets see if they find some cobalt. Fingers crossed. | ukgeorge

12/3/2018 12:35 | African Battery Metals* (ABM LN) 0.05p, Mkt Cap £3.2m – Exploration update on the Kisinka cobalt project in DRC The company reports that it has now completed field mapping over “a significant portion of the licence and a satellite imagery report and has identified a number of follow-up targets.” The next phase of exploration is to be soil sampling focussed, from shallow auger samples to penetrate beneath the overlying cover, initially on the “Grand Conglomerat which occurs running SE-NW on both sides of the Kisinka licence.” African Battery Metals highlights that this is the lithology “which elsewhere in the DRC, hosts the Kamoa type deposit, the fourth largest worldwide copper discovery.” Conclusion: Exploration at Kisinka is still at a relatively early stage, however, the licence area is underlain by a lithology which has proved fruitful exploration ground elsewhere in the DRC. We look forward to the results of this initial exploration as they become available. *SP Angel act as broker to African Battery Metals | cpap man

26/2/2018 11:26 | I've got this on my watch list. But it's early days, it can take 5 years from drilling to actually extracting ...added to the fact that they are in the DRC, also 6,5 billion shares in circulation and will need more cash...my advice be wary. | chicken01
25/2/2018 15:20 | Agreed. I've been reading about the history of the region and specifically DRC, and it's not pleasant reading. So volatile, so many factions, tribes, uncertainty and war...and so many have died, I mean millions have died in relatively recent years! As I say, the problem with Africa is the Africans. They are rarely loyal to their nation but are often loyal only to their tribe, so how can they ever build successful countries? DRC either needs a string dose of nationalism to cement the country, or, break up into many small countries. It's a mess. | excellance
24/2/2018 10:55 | A country on the brink! | escapetohome
24/2/2018 10:51 | I was aware of that story a couple of weeks ago. I dont think pdrc is a country i prefer to operate in. Im scratching my head as to why were there. The environment is getting tough for profitable operations. | escapetohome
24/2/2018 10:48 | Excellance , that was exactly what i was referringto, that congo could be a risky place to do business. Lets not forget our Sierra Leone assets. | escapetohome
23/2/2018 17:49 | so there are 6.5 billion shares in existence and the company thinks it may need more finance by mid year, so say june, by which time preliminary drilling will be completed at drc and the sierra leone asset could well be farmed out or mothballed indefinately. current mkt cap of near £4m seems high to me considering theyve got nothing worth having right now, tho i accept that drc could become useful pending further investigation. good luck. | excellance
23/2/2018 16:21 | this is effectively a reverse takeover. the gold assets are a non runner due to complexity, or in other words costs are too high. this is all about cobalt now and i expect that if preliminary results are good then more cash will be raised for a thorough drilling program, and at that point they may consolidate 100/1 or something like that. | excellance
22/2/2018 20:12 | I think Congo is a risky area to do business. Im really excited about our Sierra Leone assets, i think these are the unappreciated jewel in our crown. I look forward to news about potential partners. Yes i do think , contrary to all expectation, and in the face of fierce de-ramping , this WILL turn. | escapetohome
22/2/2018 13:36 | APPLE have announced that they are going to buy COBALT directly from miners! | cpap man
22/2/2018 13:32 | Big buys are pushing the share price forward.... | soldi
20/2/2018 08:26 | Very little in the way of a meaningful project here it seems. Way too many shares in issue too, so I would expect a consolidation too. £3.5m seems about right for a company at this stage. | the deacon
20/2/2018 07:44 | Sierra leone Further to previous announcements of ABM's intention to seek a farm-out or JV partner for the further development of its wholly owned Ferensola Gold Project ("FGP") in Sierra Leone, ABM is pleased to update that one interested party is currently carrying out due diligence on Ferensola under an NDA (non-disclosure agreement), with a second interested group expected to be provided with access to the project's information shortly. ABM will provide regular updates as the situation progresses in due course Thats probably the interesting bit, Congo i think is a risky area to be doing business? | escapetohome
20/2/2018 07:31 | This must be near a decade from any meaningful production. Any comments regarding helping with the cobalt deficit are a bit pie in the sky at this stage | the deacon
31/1/2018 17:30 | they could have a real project here, at least they didn't buy another bloody iron ore deposit or gold deposit in nowhwere land. arguably DRC is the hellhole of the world, but it gets the job done mining wise. and cobalt should make them a lot of dough if they can maneuver their way through it all.
