06/2/2008 14:05 | the orders on the left hand side are buy orders from ppl who have direct feed access to level 2 trading, mm's, inst's and cdf traders.... they BUY your stock, hence it being the selling price for us. the orders on the right hand side are SEL orders from mm's and direct feed merchants etc, who will sell you stock, as in, we BUY... if for example a punter with direct feed access filled the two orders at the top left for 6645 shs and 297 shs, then an AT trade pops up on the right hand side in the trades colume, and the price then becomes... 101.25 to 102.5 any any point a selr or buyer can 'nip' in netwen the bid and offer to put their order in... if the touch is just 1/4p then you know th enext deal will alter the price because if the bid order is taken, then the price below it becomes the next price... hope of ue to you mate. | leeson31

05/2/2008 22:56 | NG News: Nigeria plans 20 billion dollar spending on oil sector: minister Tue Feb 5 ABUJA (AFP) - Nigeria plans to spend about 15 to 20 billion dollars annually on oil exploration and production, junior oil minister Odein Ajumogobia said Tuesday. "An estimated annual spending of about 15 to 20 billion dollars (10.2 to 13.6 billion euros) is anticipated in Nigeria's exploration and production sector," Ajumogobia told participants at a Gulf of Guinea Oil and Gas conference here. The minister said this "aggressive production capacity expansion plan" will put Nigeria in the forefront of investments in the Gulf of Guinea. This region also comprises Angola, Cameroon, Gabon, Congo, Equatorial Guinea and Sao Tome and Principe. In all, it has estimated oil reserves of about 60 billion barrels. Ajumogobia said Nigeria's crude oil reserves currently stand at about 35 billion barrels, putting the west African country in good position to play a critical role in global crude oil supplies. The minister said the state-run oil company, NNPC, was being restructured for better performance, adding that "this reform will address the challenge of funding that has threatened the sector growth". "As a prelude to this, the federal government has this year allowed NNPC to attempt to raise third-party finance for its activities and about six billion dollars is currently being sourced from these sources," Ajumogobia said. "This effort will enable the JVs (Joint Ventures) to sustain a higher level of activity estimated at about 15 billion dollars in total for 2008", he added. Joint-venture funding has been an issue between Nigeria and major oil companies, with the foreign companies accusing the west African country of defaulting in foreign currency cash call payments. Nigeria is Africa's biggest oil producer, accounting for a daily output of 2.1 million barrels. | gpmh1

05/2/2008 12:50 | if the mid price reaches (end of day) at 104.394 then that'l be a buy signal for lots of traders imho.. looks liek gap not goign to be filled perhaps now. also, if first rns'd oil is circa 18th March, then T20 and T25 traders/buyers will be looking to enter around 11th Feb... so, if the share price does reach the buy signaled price at 104.394, and the closer we get to 11th feb, then in theory the share price shoudl get back to previous ath's... imho of course. cheers | leeson31
