08/7/2017 17:00 | Someone please tell me where its say no oil, anything at all, a snippet, ..... --------------- No one talked about oil, what we need here is flow. The flow here is very low, which means this oil field is not commercial. ---------------- Extracts from 2 RNSs. Highlights -- Stimulation fluid continues to flowback naturally -- 15.3% of total stimulation fluid recovered to date Highlights * Flowback continues with 13% of stimulation fluid recovered This means that between 26/06 and 04/07 they managed to flow back 2.3% of the frack fluid. Our company, in rns have said they expect oil when 30% of the frack fluid has been recovered. IMO, it looks like the pressure in the well is depleting faster than expected.....not flowing. I do not know the reasons or this, but: 1) The frack has not worked.......it has not opened up the fracture crack which the oil flows through. The evidence against this, is.....the 2 Zones are connected. The reservoir engineers thought that they could frack TWO ZONES, and this assumption did not work. 2) The theory is wrong. This is RDs post. Ride DaIce 8 Jul '17 - 09:18 - 12865 of 12868 0 0 Patience needed. Nobody has ever done this before in the HRZ. Fracking works in shale, but maybe not in volcanic rock. The Lab results showed high porosity and permeability. ============ I have worked in the oil industry for over 30 years, and seen many innovations, which is why I bought in here. They got 13% flowback on the frack fluid in the initial period. Then between 26/06 and 04/07, we got 2.3%. To me, that looks like an exponential decline in pressure....is the well now in the asymptote range....ie level to the production axis. ----- IMO, the pressure is not there.......which is strange, given that the zones are connected. ------ Looks like the well will closed in to bring up the pressure to get flow when the well is re-opened. ---- If that does not work.....we will need for ESPs ......Electrical Submersible Pumps. These are pumps which are installed down the well to pump the oil up. They will take time to install, months?? You can out just go out and buy an ESP, many are made to order, and have a lead time. --- My guess is the next rns will tell us the well has been closed in, to build up pressure. They will set a pressure gauge down the well to monitor the pressure rise, this is important, very important data, as it tells us the interconnection of the reservoir. | 11_percent
08/7/2017 11:31 | Rather than worrying about a specific poster.... some of you need to think about why you didn't sell up at around 4p with a market cap of nearly 200m!!!! Bearing in mind the best case here is a 400 barrel a day flow on a 50/50 chance! The market cap is still barking mad even if it does flow at 400 a day. This could easily crash to 0.5p on a dud results..... yes they will then go for the conventional but more placements will be needed. For me the risk reward just ain't happening.... even at this price. | lw425

07/7/2017 22:14 | Rubbish..........the Co have already more than said the well will be closed in, because there is no pressure. When that does not work an ESP will be installed to TRY and get a flow. It's a duster. | 11_percent
07/7/2017 21:56 | This could blow next week as the maximum 30% recovery target nears. We will know very soon whether there are oil shows otherwise it's the bottled water business. GLA | rossowheels
07/7/2017 19:09 | Emmmm, no, it's not flowing. If we can not even recover the frack fluid .....there is zero chance of getting the oil........duster. | 11_percent
07/7/2017 19:06 | Agreed Rod . Also , looking at the daily volumes in relation to the spike to 4p and back from the beginning of June , I`m guessing that it was in a major way driven by trading speculators who don`t know (and don`t care) about the difference between water , frack fluid and oil . We don`t yet know exactly how this will develop but DW advised end of July early August and patience . In addition to the flow rate the quality of the recovered oil could be a major event. Nothing`s changed yet and all still to play for . | boobly
