ene i have no issues with that at all and i too have been here since 1.6p. Got to 4p and banked a hefty profit. Been here before on a few others in the past and very much roumer and news strategy for me. Good luck...

Me too i took a tidy profit at 4p and now planning to reinvest around 3.2p and hold to early july results. Might sell again on roumers if 30% profit b4 July results and then reinvest just before the actuall news to either loose that investrment or multiply it many times. All about timing ladies and gents, timing I say....

Wirral :..... I am also wondering about those two huge `Trades` .
Perhaps just consolidated reporting as so many trades were going through at that time or possibly linked to the new system malfunction at the begining of the week .
I doubt they represent single trades !
Strange though .

Bbc if that's aimed at me, I'd point out that I have been in this for not a long time, have enjoyed a decent rise and taken the decision to top slice, sit on a nice pile freebies and look to top up again if the opportunity come. The posts were simply interesting articles, or so I thought. Clearly lots people on this bb who know the business very well, and tbh I was lucky to have had it tipped to me. The team impress me. Well I'd be surprised. My guess ( and that's all we can do ) is that the oil story playing in the background is going to through up and entry or top up opportunity, and if the flow rates are then high, it will prove to be one great opportunity in hindsight. I predict by the time flow rates are announced it will be around 3p.

Then even if they flow it at 300 barrels a day no one will actually care

The next questions would be how much to drill another or two or three

Then 2.5p with funding questions ongoing

Alaska only good for polar bears and Eskimos now. Oil is dead. Uneconomic at these levels which will fall more.

Majors are pulling out of Alaska. It's all over. Not economic at these prices which are only going to fall further.
