Joseph Iannicelli Joins Smart Employee Benefits Board of Directors

Smart Employee Benefits Inc. ("SEB") (TSX VENTURE:SEB), is a technology company

government clients with specialty practices focused on "managing group health
benefit solutions, plan administration and claims processing." 


SEB is pleased to announce that Mr. Joseph Iannicelli joins the Board of
Directors. As an independent Director, Mr. Iannicelli brings over 25 years
experience within the Canadian Life and Health Insurance sector, in particular
in the group benefits industry.


Joseph is currently CEO of Banyan Work Health Solutions, a leader in disability
management and return to work programs, offering services nationally and
internationally to a wide variety of public; and private sector employees and
major Canadian insurers. Prior to joining Banyan, Mr. Iannicelli was President
and CEO for the Canadian operations of The Standard Life Insurance Company for
over seven years. Mr. Iannicelli has served on numerous boards and advisor
roles, including OMERS, Bikini Village, and Canadian Spirit Resources as
Chairman of the Board.
