Petromin Appoints A New Director

VANCOUVER, June 1, 2016 /CNW/ - Petromin Resources Ltd. (the "Company") is pleased to announce that Mr. John Anderson has been appointed to the Company's Board of Directors, effective June 1 2016, to hold office until the Company's next annual general meeting of shareholders.

Mr. Anderson is a graduate of the University of Western Ontario, and has invested in and arranged financings for both private and public companies focused in the resource industry. He is also chairman of Northern Freegold Resources Corp. and specializes in re-capitializing resource companies in the energy and mining industries. More recently he recapitalized Northern Freegold Resources in the Yukon and prior to this, helped transform American Eagle Energy into a successful 3,000 BOE producer in the US Bakken formation in North Dakota. 

The Company anticipates that Mr. Anderson's vast experience in the resource and financial fields will add shareholder value and be a strong asset for the Company moving forward.

In addition, Mr. Anderson has been appointed as a member of the Company's Audit Committee.
