Gallic Energy Ltd. Announces New Management Positions

Gallic Energy Ltd. ("Gallic") (TSX VENTURE:GLC) would like to announce the
following changes in management positions: William H. Smith, from Chief
Executive Officer to President and Chief Executive Officer; Mark Armanious, from
Vice-President, Exploration to Executive Vice-President, Exploration; Eric
Messier, from Manager, Operations to Vice-President, Operations; and John Kiss,
from Manager, Business Development to Vice-President, Engineering and Business
Development.


Mr. William H. Smith, President and CEO of Gallic, said "We are pleased that our
management team, including Oleh Stupnyckyj, Manager, Geosciences, has come
together as a cohesive group, and that we have been able to quickly evaluate our
core assets, prepare for France re-entry and testing operations, and to generate
and evaluate various new venture projects that should lead to expanding Gallic's
holdings onshore Europe."

Mark Woods has resigned from Gallic Energy as an employee, officer and director.
