IBM has committed to training 2 million people in artificial intelligence by the end of 2026.
The company said on Monday that it would have a special focus on underrepresented communities as it adds AI-focused training to its existing IBM SkillsBuild platform.
IBM said its new free course offerings would teach prompt-writing for generative AI, machine learning, and improving customer service with AI.
The IBM SkillsBuild platform is an online platform which offers over 1,000 free courses on various technical topics.
The company also said it will expand its collaborations with universities around the world to achieve its training goal.
