Posted at 09/8/2018 09:15 by bodgit I e mailed Marla Gale on 25th July (copy below) about the amounts UK holders might receive upon completion of the deal - I have not received any response to date.E mail of 25th July 2018: Dear Marla, I am a Dalradian shareholder having acquired those shares following your acquisition of Minco. My Dalradian shares are held in my nominee account ... in the UK and traded on the London 'AIM' market. Can you help please with a question I have arising from the June 21st 2018 announcement of the Recommended Cash Offer by Orion Mine Finance to Acquire Dalradian Resources Inc. I note the offer price is C$1.47 per share. Assuming the deal does complete as expected in third quarter 2018, is it possible for me to know now what amount I will receive per share in pounds Sterling or will that be subject to the prevailing exchange rate at the time of completion? Thank you in advance for your response. |
Posted at 17/7/2018 16:33 by bodgit Can anyone here help me please?I have Dalradian AIM shares and note that the 21 June offer is given as $ Canadian 1.47 per share. Is the amount I will receive (assuming it all goes through ok) already fixed in pounds sterling or am I bearing exchange rate risk (+ or - ) between now and the deal closing? Thanks in advance. |
Posted at 12/7/2018 09:37 by djb3 Lol not selling mine we're getting ripped off. Price has been deliberately knocked down over last few months. Will double in no time if we hold them for longer term |
Posted at 21/6/2018 21:27 by storefront27 Nope, this looks like a last ditch attempt to protect what price is left. Claims of a high rolling investor may calm some fears in the short term but it looks like an opt out position being taken. |
Posted at 09/2/2018 13:08 by casual47 Not dissing DALR btw. Like I said, I have it on my watch list and have been considering to buy in. Major institutions bought heavily into DALR at a big premium to today's share price so I am sure they know their onions re. the prospect here. |
Posted at 09/2/2018 12:58 by casual47 Dibs, the bonus provided by being in NI as opposed to some corrupt regime I understand. Are there other (single mine) miners in a comparable situation? (first gold pour at least 2 years away and already close to half a billion USD market cap?) I can think of a couple of bigger projects at a similar stage as DALR which are still under 100 million USD market cap, although admittedly in "dodgy" countries. |
Posted at 11/12/2017 09:55 by thecynical1 does anybody know why this has slipped so much since the MIO holders were given shares as part of the deal? It now appears to be stuck below the last placing price? What does the market know that we don´t? |
