Posted at 21/5/2018 07:38 by wheeze Looks like things are starting to wake up again at ARL. They certainly took their time. |
Posted at 13/1/2018 12:54 by alter ego Mach100 post no 220 - wide of the mark I'm afraid. Just a normal PI interested in ARL but not yet a holder. |
Posted at 13/1/2018 10:06 by duwendag would anyone have any throughs on the share price when arl are re-listed, I'm hopeful for a considerable increase. |
Posted at 14/12/2017 09:14 by elited10 If Macquarie's price valuation was 154p, what on earth were they doing at 36p? has anyone a clue as to what level the equity raise will be done? |
Posted at 14/12/2017 09:12 by mach100 Is this good news Hyper? The target is making a sizeable loss and ok it is attributed to the mothballing of the plant but there will be lots of work needed to be done. The 20 year contracts give good visibility at least. Will the fund raising be done at a premium or a discount? If at a sizeable discount it is not really creating value for ARL shareholders. I am very sceptical I must say. |
Posted at 09/10/2017 13:24 by mach100 Seems to have a second wind now. There has beena steady stream of buyers all morning and the ask has moved to 43.5p. The potential here is enormous. They just have to harness it. When you think about all the resource stocks on AIM with no revenue and no proven resource then you have to see ARL as one of the best plays around. |
Posted at 09/10/2017 10:29 by mach100 Morning footrot ( ouch!). I know the feeling. I was on the verge of selling ARL myself as it had sank so much. I even got my son to invest in this too as a novice and he was well underwater. I have had loads of shares where I should really have sold out. I am glad we both hung in on this one. I am tempted to by more this morning but I personally have that it never pays me to buy in on a spike. Longer term I feel this is going to be a helluva investment. |
Posted at 04/10/2017 10:04 by mach100 Good article in the Daily mail today fuelling the surge. It highlights Macquarie's valuation of 154p a share once Phase 1 is complete. Buyers are paying full ask of 37.5p. Maybe they see a once in a generation chance of 300%ish profit from here to reach Macquarie's price.. Personally I think the projects worldwide will add substantially more value to ARL relative to the current share price |
Posted at 22/6/2017 16:33 by footrot355 Re the delay in reinserting the Phase 1A turbines which are currently undergoing their final upgrades before being issued with their handover certificates. These turbines have been designed for retrieval once every six years for an overhaul and maintenance program which should take approximately two weeks. They have been ashore for nearly two months now and I begin to wonder if the delay is due to a more serious defect than a 'third party grid outage'! It would be a great shame if the national grid could not handle the electricity generated.Meanwhile lack of news and uncertainty over the UK Government’s contracts for difference mechanism, which is based on price is not helping the SP, which is a bit worrying as I see my targets for this share receding into the distance. |
Posted at 04/5/2017 13:18 by cockerhoop Extrader,The AR1500 turbine design is owned by ARL, they outsource the manufacture to Lockheed Martin but are very much involved on the technical side. |
