Hawaii 5-0: Today’s Questions for Sefton Resources

As you may remember Sefton Resources (LSE:SER) is suing myself and Brokerman Daniel for libel. I have already responded to its writ and lodged my papers in the High Court last week. Dan tells me that he will be lodging within 24 hours. Both of us await this matter with mounting excitement as the more this goes on the more folks come to us with interesting snippets.

Today a former investor in Powerhouse Resources (go check it out) pointed me to Hawaii. For it appears that it is in this luxury pacific paradise that Sefton chairman Jim Ellerton and his delightful wife Carol make their home – it is not a modest pad. Public records show that it was bought for $710,000 in 2004. Why drag poor Carol into it? Well Sefton shareholders have been happily contributing to a consultancy business that they jointly own for years.

As I have tried to get my head around Jim’s remuneration arrangements I have been chatting to my new friends at the IRS (The US taxman) and so to make that conversation easier I had to track down Jim’s home address in Maui. That has been done and to give the old fox his dues Carol, who looks to be a tad younger than Jim, is not a bad looker. In case she is bored I have tried to be her “friend” on Facebook. I shall keep you posted on whether she accepts my request.

But now for today’s questions for Sefton. I have put these to its PR firm Cadogan and will keep you informed of its reply. Naturally this matter will also be part of any disclosure requests that I shall be making in due course. And so two easy questions:

1. How many flights to and from Hawaii has Sefton Resources PLC paid for since its IPO
2. How many flights to and from Hawaii has Sefton Resources PLC paid for in the past year.

If the answer is nil I shall report that in full. If it is more than nil, my follow up question will be on the matter of the costs of any of these flights.
