While markets are struggling to find direction today, some stocks seem to be on clear upward trajectory. Major indices are showing mixed results with Dow Jones in the red area but S&P 500 and Nasdaq trading in greed region. On the positive note home prices rose in most major cities in the US during September. However, Euro is sliding and the concerns about major economies continue.

The holiday season starts with positive outlook as Black Friday and Cyber Monday showed positive results.  According to the reports, Cyber Monday sales showed 30 percent increase over last year’s figures. So, while the positive mood continues, here is our list of biggest price gainers in today’s market:

Ralcorp Holdings Inc. (NYSE:RAH): The company stock is buoyant on the news of its acquisition by ConAgra. The deal is said to be worth $6.8 billion and the consideration will be paid in cash. With the stock valued at about $90 per share, the current price level is at $88.71. The stock traded in the range of $88.70 and $88.85 in the current trading session. In the past 52 weeks, it has oscillated in the range of $59.28 and $89.86. Both the companies have already approved the deal and the acquisition will lead to the creation of one of the biggest packaged food companies in the US. ConAgra already has prominent brands like Healthy Choice, Peter Pan and Slim Jim in its portfolio. The deal is yet to be approved by the shareholders and would also require a go ahead from the regulators. Ralcorp Holdings currently commands the market capitalization of $4.88 billion.

Crocs Inc. (NASDAQ:CROX): The stock has got thumbs up from Goldman Sachs, which rated the stock as Buy. Its price target has been set at $17, while it is currently trading at $13.22, up 7.04 percent from its previous close of $12.35. It has traded in the range of $12.00 and $22.59 in the past 52 weeks. However, the stock is trading below its 20 days moving average price of $13.23 and 50 days moving average price of $13.26. The consensus price target for the stock is at $19 and thus there is ample upside to the stock. Crocs is based out of Colorado and the company was formed in 1999. It is engaged in the business of designing, developing and marketing apparel, footwear and accessories. The company is operational in the Americas, Asia and Europe. The stock is currently trading at the Price Earnings ratio of 8.57 and the beta of the stock is at 0.2.

Corning Inc. (NYSE:GLW): The company stock is currently trading at $12.27, up 8.11 percent from its previous close of $11.35. The stock had opened at $12.09 and has traded in the range of $12.00 and $12.33 in the current trading session. Corning Inc. reported its sales forecast for LCD glass and surpassed the expectations. The company makes Gorilla Glass which is widely used in tablets and smartphones. Corning expects to derive more than $1 billion in sales for Gorilla Glass this year. The stock commands the Price Earnings ratio of 9.73 and it is currently trading above its 20 days moving average price of $12.24 and 50 days moving average price of $12.17. The company stock has also been upgraded by analysts including Topeka Capital, which upped the stock from Hold to Buy.  Its price target has been set at $15.35.

Generac Holdings Inc. (NYSE:GNRC): The company reported the withdrawal of its secondary offering. Generac Holdings did not provide any reason for withdrawal but stated that the general market conditions forced the company to take the decision. The announcement bid well for the stock which is currently trading at $34.24, up 6.97 percent from its previous close of $32.01. The stock is trading at the Price Earnings ratio of 7.08. The secondary offering consisted of 11.5 million shares. The selling shares were offered by the members of the company’s board as well as by CCMP Capital. Generac Holdings is engaged in the business of designing and manufacturing of generators. It has traded in the range of $18.35 and $39.18 in the past 52 weeks. However, the stock is trading above its 20 days moving average price of $34.21 and 50 days moving average price of $34.14.
