Fixed income investor meetings

Partnership Assurance Group plc ('Partnership' or 'the Group') announces that it has mandated BofA Merrill Lynch and Royal Bank of Scotland to arrange a series of fixed income investor meetings, commencing on 8 January 2015, to assess a sterling-denominated subordinated debt transaction issued by Partnership. There can be no certainty that a debt transaction will occur, but the Board of Partnership believes that, as announced at the investor day in November, it is in shareholders' interests to explore opportunities to provide the financial flexibility to invest in new initiatives and to diversify the Group's sources of funding.

Commenting on today's announcement, Steve Groves, CEO said:

"Partnership currently has no debt and it is therefore logical to explore the opportunities to diversify, optimise and strengthen our robust capital position with a prudent amount of leverage. We will update the market in due course."
