Further to the announcement of 5 September setting out continuation proposals for the Company, the Board of Directors confirms that, in the event that those proposals are approved by shareholders and implemented thereafter, the Company's shares will continue to constitute "excluded securities" for the purposes of the Financial Conduct Authority ("FCA") rules relating to the restrictions on the retail distribution of unregulated collective investment schemes and close substitutes ("NMPIs"). Accordingly, the Company's shares will not be classified as shares in a non-mainstream pooled investment and will therefore continue to be excluded from the FCA's restrictions which apply to NMPIs.
