Techtel to distribute FORscene into S.E. Asian market

Forbidden Technologies, the AIM quoted developer of FORscene, the market leading Cloud video platform for the social media world, is pleased to announce that Techtel (South East Asia) hassigned an agreement to distribute FORscene into the S.E. Asian market.

Techtel is a significant distributor in S.E. Asia, supplying (inter alia) newsroom computer systems for television, where Techtel is a one stop shop for complete solutions. They supply best-of-breed products from reliable and established suppliers, and handle all the customer relationships themselves.

Techtel has already introduced FORscene to a number of its customers, and the system is now on trial with Techtel.

As announced previously, News is one of Forbidden's target growth areas. Forbidden has a productive partnership with AP ENPS to integrate FORscene into their platform. Forbidden has been in discussions with various companies in broadcast news with a view to supplying Forbidden's FORscene Cloud video platform for use by journalists and specialist editors for editing and publishing finished news stories for broadcast.

Saifudin Mohd Sani, General Manager of Techtel, comments:

"I have been following the progress of FORscene with interest. The integration with the AP ENPS system last year allows FORscene to slot into my customers' existing systems, providing the News market with an extraordinary value added proposition."

Greg Hirst, Business Development Director, Forbidden Technologies, says:

" Techtel's focus on customer experience and promoting new workflows fits in well with FORscene's ethos. The recent addition of Media Object Server (MOS) protocol(1) support to our exceptional Cloud editing platform has now opened up the News market in the fast growing economies of S.E. Asia."

-Ends-

1 MOS is a powerful and widely-adopted open standard communications protocol used to integrate and link newsroom computer systems with broadcast production applications and equipment, enabling journalists to more readily connect individual pieces of newsroom production technology via a common XML-based language.
