Update on Debt Funding

Vast Resources plc, the AIM-listed mining company, is pleased to announce an update in relation to the Asset Backed Debt facility from A&T Investments SARL (“Alpha”) as announced on 16 May 2022 and the debt owed to Mercuria Energy Trading SA (“MercuriaR21;) relating to Tranche A of the Prepayment Agreement announced on 21 March 2018.

As announced on the 29 April 2024, US$1.5 million was due to be repaid on 7 May 2024. The Company is currently in discussions with Alpha and Mercuria regarding a further extension that will allow further time to finalise the restructuring finance for the Company with the owner of the Swiss investment company, as referenced in the 29 April announcement.

The Company will update the market with further details in due course.

I was talking to a solicitor i know the other day.
I asked him why he thinks AP or any of the management have not taken action against these trolls. What he said made a lot of sense. It costs a lot of time and money to take people to court. If they have very little money, Which does look the case here.
You are most likely going to be out of pocket, with the costs. So its better to just ignore them.

Licence extension documentation is in the process of being finalised in order that this be submitted by the 12 May 2024 deadline.

So along with lots of other news, this Licence extension documentation which has to be submitted no later than the 12 of May. which is a Sunday. so will have to be submitted on Friday at the latest, Will contain a lot of detail regarding the drilling campaign.
There was so much info in the RNS dated the 29 Apr 2024. People seem to have been blind to it. There was also a lot of info that showed there were not one or two options for the debt to be sorted, but multiple choses. As for a placing. Well that was in the RNS of the 14th FEB. "The owner of the Swiss investment Company owning the high grade PGM concentrate has indicated a firm interest in providing major finance to the Company, partly through debt and partly through equity to be issued at a higher price than the current share price". As for a general placing, I have not seen any hint that one of those is due.
Like everyone else they will be looking to get the best price they can for the equity part of the restructuring finance.
