It sometimes takes quite a long time for a company to regain credibility fozdad, even with new management. Mistakes in figures in Trading Statements and results that companies announce are unforgiveable and David Breith was an absolute disaster for COMS. I was fortunate to make a reasonable profit on my shareholding and sold out before the wheels totally came off, but there must be many private investors sitting on big losses.

COMS featured in positive Motley Fool article today entitled:
"Are Coms plc, Sound Energy PLC And Acacia Mining PLC The Perfect Stocks For 2016?"
LINK:

"Shrewd move"

"Meanwhile, shares in infrastructure and smart building solutions company Coms (LSE: COMS) have soared by over 35% today following the release of its trading update. It has raised its guidance for the full-year to the end of January 2016, with continued robust trading within the core operating division, Redstone, being a key reason."

"In fact, revenue and operating profit have both been significantly ahead of last year, with Coms having resolved the majority of legacy issues which were inherited by the current management team."

"Clearly, the disposal of the loss-making telecoms business was a shrewd move and this allowed Coms to strengthen its balance sheet and reduce overheads. It has also invested in its Redstone business, and with a net cash balance of around £1m, it could be worth a closer look for less risk averse investors."

Director dealing after the year end and before to the closed period 2 months prior to the publication of EOY figures is generally a very good indication of the BoD's view of the status of the company. Though relatively modest I'm greatly encouraged by these DDs today.

Ivor: well CTP have an impressive record. Let's hope he learnt well there, and brings some of the investor supporters from CTP.
I find that quiet encouraging.

OO Well oversubscribed. 135% - Good news :)

So all the money they asked for has been raised.

The original 1m placed with institutions and other investors and 1.08m via the offer to shareholders.

We can move forward now with a well funded and leaner profitable company. Should start to see us move up now I think from this low.

The worrying thing for many investors is this share could well be suspended waiting financial clarification and refinancing issues.

Just depends on the several million pound loss stated by the Chairman which seems so vague is close to the mark. If this is the case, I would not be surprised if Coms gets suspended at /or before the results are issued or the meeting on 13th.

Too risky to invest in especially when your money could be tied up for 6 months or more and then may be a placing at 0.5p or less. Worrying times for all investors.
