25/11/2006 14:29 | The bottom line for me Diamante and you wont like it, I am not convinced the product is that good and the demand for iDVD is as great as you would all like to think. I can assure you I don't like or dislike your bottom line - I am totally impartial. Why do you think their product - I assume you mean products - are no good? More than half of all iDVD game developers use it, so I assume they think DES is at least acceptable. Have you used it and found some deficiences developers haven't? Disney have signed TAS and Regionalisation, and paid more than a million for the privilidge. Disney don't sound to me like the type of outfit to pay for software which is no good. Why do you think these two packages are no good? Do you have experience of using them? Did you even know they existed? As to Idvd sales being 'less than we would like to think' - that's an odd thing to say. For a start, you don't know what sales I think will be made, and I haven't seen others predicting sales too, so you simply can't say they will be less than we think. Obviously, you must know the future sales to make that statement, so could you tell us what they will be? Thanks. Any ideas why all the major associated retauilers are having increased and dedicated sales floor space for iDVDs this year? They seem to think sales will increase substantially - there are thousands of products fighting for very expensive high street retail space, and usually, Woolies and they like are VERY selective on what gets on the shop floor. What info do you have about IDVD demand which the most shrewed retail brains don't? I cant see anyone turning this mess around That's a shame. I think you'll miss out on a rare opportunity. | ![]() diamante

25/11/2006 14:09 | partridge, sales ARE proven in the idvd genre from successful first years. Increasing in awareness to the mainstream public knowledge that you can now play quizes (and more) on your dvd player. Ads left right and centre ensures the growth, and zoo dont pay a penny in advertising..! They just rake off the top of all the sales generated AND PAID FOR by their customers! Brilliant! | jacobjohn7
25/11/2006 13:53 | DVD games are the biggest growth area in media and gaming and they are set to become even bigger with the advent of new DVD technology and software capabilities. Specialists in this emerging industry are few and far between, | ![]() macca28

25/11/2006 12:11 | Hi chaps, I've been looking into these recently but am a little unsure of what's going on with the company. I see thet divested a large part of their operation after Christmas. Also I see they recently made a substantial share issue, plus a loan note, but acording to advfn there are only 5.91 million shares in issue. Has there been a share consolidation following that issue or are advfn wrong? Also I notice a couple of high level resignations this year. If someone would be kind enough to outline the position it would help me enormously, as its hard to make a decision to invest on what looks like fairly jumbled up information. | ![]() ray164
24/11/2006 21:59 | partridge....There are no short positions to be had. The only option would be to run naked and that would just be stupid and with the stock being so illiquid it would provide an opportunity to buy all you placed. On the other hand the long option is the clever one from both a trading and investment perspective. But post to your hearts content, if you havent noticed there are only a few of us early birds and we are buying. In fact I would still like a few long term holders to dump before xmas, not particularly expecting it considering they held tight all the way down, but I live in hope. | ![]() siwel100

24/11/2006 16:46 | Just pulling your leg JJ no need to get so touchy. Hope you all manage to get something out of this dog only time will tell. Just like to point out JJ that it can be equally rewarding looking for the bad shares like this. | partridge2

24/11/2006 13:18 | I take your points regarding the loan conversion. I think any news regarding additional software sales will come before any conversion thus the potential upside short term. With he cash in the bank, current software complete and a prudent CFO at the healm I have had a punt this morning. Its worth a £1 a share without any additional news imo. | uzbekking44 |
