04/6/2007 15:35 | You're not my mate. Also, point scoring by picking up on spelling mistakes aint going to gain you any........mate. | devonport
04/6/2007 15:31 | Devon mate, its "numbnuts" lol sorry, but honestly lets discuss zoo in a constructive not destructive manner, i presume u still hold your stock. Lets look at all the bull and bear points, but sometimes u really need to draw a line in the sand and move on and look forward. | 130407
04/6/2007 15:29 | Who said I disagreed with you??? Look numnuts I've forgot more about Zoo than you'll ever know so don't start getting clever with me. | devonport
04/6/2007 15:24 | devonport please put forward a contrarian view, it is most welcome. But please ensure it is factual and asks pertinent questions. I welcome any contrarian views expressed properly. ps its reminiscent | 130407
04/6/2007 15:21 | This board is now remanisant of the Zoo thread 4 years ago. Anybody dare question the all conquering Zoo gets shouted down. Exit Cashmagnet and Jacobjohn enter 130407 and Master RSI. I wonder which one will turn out to be the crazy one? | devonport
04/6/2007 14:54 | Pierre Why are you trying to be a slimy SNAIL? don't bother to answer........cos you are ONE But maybe you can say the reason of your negative comments, I am new here, but it sounds like someone that bought long time ago at a very high price, or sour grapes sold at big loss at the bottom. YES - Pierre = escargot | master rsi
04/6/2007 14:36 | good lad Artey, keep up the good work. your are our resident RNS dis-sector | 130407
04/6/2007 14:27 | In addition to the money in the bank Pierre and on the 19th January: The Board is confident that these will generate recurring revenues on a monthly basis, reducing ZOO's dependency on the seasonal interactive DVD market and creating a more predictable business profile. | artey
04/6/2007 14:26 | In addition to the money in the bank Pierre 23rde April RSN "Under this contract, TAS will be used to produce DVD titles and revenues will be derived on a per title basis. This system is now in full production and is generating income which reduces the reliance on interactive DVD's and provides a higher level of recurring revenue throughout the year." | artey
04/6/2007 14:01 | lol the information comes from the RNS - lol yes you have to pay a sales force..... maybe they are paying commission on sales generated.... now that would be good. | 130407
04/6/2007 13:45 | Why do people keep repeating that zoo have £2m cash? Where does that information come from? All we know is that at 31 March they had £2m cash (not net of debt btw), but now we're in June - two/three months during which cash burn must have risen due to taking on a sales force (and unless they are paying their salesforce a decent slug, they won't be worth a song). Cashburn must be romping at the moment, with no sign yet of any cash inflow. Maybe the results will give an update of the current cash/cashburn position, but probably we'll have to extrapolate from the cashburn up to the year end (31 March). What zoo needs is a deal which generates them some income to get the cash burn level down to something manageable. | pierre oreilly
04/6/2007 12:57 | Wont be long and the mm's are just going to have to let it run....which will be nice....:) | siwel100
04/6/2007 12:30 | re - you really cant go far wrong when then company is only valued at 700k The last statement was a clear signal that the company is going places from the last final Q. ............. ZOO Digital Group today announces an update on trading for the year ended 31 March 2007, ahead of its preliminary results announcement in June. Further to the trading statement on 19 January 2007, the Group's performance is expected to meet revised market expectations for the year ended 31 March 2007 with a cash balance of #2.0 million at the year end. Following an increase in interest for ZOO's products, the Group has continued to strengthen and grow its sales team, employing several highly qualified individuals with extensive business experience and proven track records in the video production industry, including with Technicolor and Warner Home Video. | master rsi
04/6/2007 11:56 | Phil, they're not going to sell Zoos product, as you put it. They are going to use it themselves and their clients wont necessarily know that they are. | artey
04/6/2007 11:55 | Phil but its economics isnt it.... facts are 1. Company valued at 2.6m 2. £2m in bank therefore valued at 700k it has done deals recently with big co's and also from a investment point of view if the shares which im led to believe are tightly held, so from a share base of 5.5m the rerating could be huge it deals keep coming espesh on TAS. you really cant go far wrong when then company is only valued at 700k. | 130407
04/6/2007 11:50 | siwel; I've been in and out of these for a while now - NOT an "old " holder - I've been making money from these since last summer! I'm well in profit! So don't over react; and don't tar every contributor with the same brush. I stand by my comments; this is positive but not enough to bet the farm. If these associates can sell Zoo's product, that's good news; but time will tell. On it's own, it's not enough to propel the shares to significant new highs. That comes from cash retentions. | philjeans
04/6/2007 11:49 | and the one after that george bush or the pope ;-) | macca29
04/6/2007 11:23 | and the one after that by Cashmagnet :-) | artey
04/6/2007 11:02 | the previous rns was done by the vice president, this one is the president. and the next will be the ceo, ;-) | macca29
04/6/2007 10:43 | If Zoo was a bog standard software company offering yet another variation of a common package then I wouldnt be interested. But Zoo is different. Its aimed at a very specific target market and offers very clever innovative software against limited competition.......An If Zoo needed 50m of sales to justify the market cap then I would also be sceptical, but with the actual company valued at just 700k, it doesnt need to be particularly succesful to get a huge rerating. If it does become hugely succesful then the share price will reach far far higher than 2 quid. | siwel100
04/6/2007 10:30 | Lol Master got ya,thought you'd had some kinda speech relapse ;) | scotty1
04/6/2007 10:30 | philjeans....I seem to remember people saying the same at 19p....as they will at 60p...a quid...2 quid etc.........such is the way when a company turnarounds, old holders always find it difficult to change their mindset. Its more work to look at the here and now, so they tend to revert to habit and pull out the old cliches from the bad times. Its absolutely understandable. What people dont seem to grasp is that Zoo is an International niche software house. It isnt punting thrupenny accounts packages to sweetshops. It has already had one major success with its specialist iDVD product. Now its starting to gain sales for the regionalisation package launched last year. Next will be the TAS package launched last month. Software houses have an easily controlled cost base and niche suppliers with limited competition work off extremely high margins. Currently the company has a valuation of 2.7m......considerin Call me old fashioned but that is just a tad cheap :) | siwel100
04/6/2007 10:25 | scotty1 Did you see the pic? I suppose to talk to a baby / candy ( Pierre Oreilly ) Pierre Oreilly - 4 Jun'07 - 09:26 - 4093 of 4101 oesn't mean, of course, that you can't make money riding the unjstified peaks caused by private punters who know nothing about zoo, and just buy into any positive sounding RNS - the thing is, it's like taking candy from a baby, when the baby doesn't have much candy anyway. | master rsi |
