10/5/2007 17:05 | Re-read it mac it reads (specific contract information outside of the company) not (arrangements outside the company)so it's anyones guess :)Like this bit though 'Further significant contracts will be announced at the earliest opportunity.' ;) | scotty1
10/5/2007 16:32 | scotty: arrangements outside the company probably means only snaptv get the money for that, | macca28

10/5/2007 08:19 | Pierre Oreilly...lol....No, it was once they got their house in order....you old cynic. Currently flapping about on low volume, no doubt those with an urge to see them fail will ignore the opportunity...such is the way of the bb's. | siwel100
10/5/2007 08:11 | When did this good feeling start Sewill? Was it about the time you stopped deramping this at every opportunity and then switched to ramping it by any chance? What a coincidence! | pierre oreilly
09/5/2007 14:45 | All the product, marketing and sales elements are meshing nicely now. Just a case of a bit of patience for the results to flow through. Had a good feeling about this one but must say am impressed by the speed they are moving at. | siwel100
09/5/2007 13:58 | ok just sussed out what the Pre-Press Regionalisation tool is about. Hadn't heard the term used before but apparently it is the process whereby digital media is converted to graphic design for printing. This has been hinted at by ZOOtech in their description of their menu Regionalisation tool: "The Regionalization Tool is ZOOtech's first product designed specifically for workflow improvements in conventional video production. This tool automates the previously manual process of creating assets, such as DVD menus, artwork, packaging, in alternative languages and has been shown in independent customer benchmarks to reduce time and labor cost by 75 to 90%." So it looks like the Video Production version of Menu Regionalisation Tool is for Video output ie DVD menus etc., and the new "Pre-Press" Regionalisation tool is a progression of that technology for regionalisation of printed media such as artwork and packaging. Looks like a nifty way of building on the existing technology and pulling in some extra revenues, hence the "total solutions" strapline we keep seeing from ZOOtech in recent weeks. | aphzombie
09/5/2007 12:34 | if you look it up on google one of the results is quality assurance on delivery, another is training solutions, but there are other results that differ, by the way zoo bought out another patent in january, | macca28
09/5/2007 12:02 | go to and then click on ZOOtech's new advertising banner on right hand side. that will take you to new ZOOtech microsite which shows ZOOtech's four production tools: * TAS for "Multi-platform automated authoring" * Regionalisation Tool for "regionalisation of video titles" * DVDExtra Studio for "interactive dvd games" * Pre-Press for "pre-press regionalisation" perhaps macca could post the microsite image .... | aphzombie

09/5/2007 07:48 | not sure what it is macc, just that it is a new tool in addition to the existing Menu Regionalisation utility that it has already been licensing to Disney et al. Maybe ZOOtech will enlighten us in the near future ... | aphzombie
09/5/2007 01:35 | aph: nice one, is it blu ray? | macca28
08/5/2007 22:44 | Anyone know what ZOOtech's new "Pre-Press Regionalisation Tool" is (in addition to their existing Video Production Regionalisation tool) ?? | aphzombie

08/5/2007 11:55 | mac at the top of the page were it says company grading, market data etc. There's only 4 links usually 5 on zoo the one missing is 'other comments' were you find brokers notes etc | scotty1
08/5/2007 11:38 | i read at the bottom of the company review, "a note has been requested" where do you look? | macca28
08/5/2007 11:25 | Just looked on armshare site and I see they've removed link for old brokers note,so could be new one any time, should make good/interesting reading.Don't leave it to long folks ;)) | scotty1
08/5/2007 08:49 | macca...Its an odd one. If an iDVD was created using ZOO's software then a download should count against royalties. I imagine it must be in the license agreement somewhere but how they measure/charge I have no idea. I expect that if/when this side develops then they will pay a lot more attention to it....possibly fixed fee or charge per 1,000's of downloads. | siwel100
07/5/2007 22:47 | does any one think zoo might get royalties for this? | macca28 |
