Scotty, On your deathbed, when you are wondering how that flew passed so quickly, you're unlikely to be wishing you spent more time watching blue and red numbers on a PC display.

It goes to show, from that UK Analyst bit, that the industry arent really sure what Zoo really do. I'm sure theyre not alone.

Uk Analyst 29/05/07

News of an development agreement helped software company Zoo Digital (ZOO) shares surge by 5.5p to 37p. The group said its wholly owned unit, ZOOtech, had signed an agreement with Mattel to develop several "high profile" DVD games, including the High School Musical 2 DVD board game. Although no financial details were disclosed, investors were hopeful that the agreement would bring similar success to previous titles such as 'Who Wants to be a Millionaire'

artey,

I'm amazed anyone would give cashmagnet £10K out of pity, and if they did they are as nuts as he is. I would also be totally astounded if the company gave him any money.

Investing in any company is a high risk business. Anyone who is naive enough to risk what they can't afford to lose, just has to take the consequences.

Investing is close to a zero sum game. In fact its a negative sum game for the majority of small private investors in small companies.

If everyone who lost money started bleating about it - then that's what over 50% of the posts on ADVFN would contain.

At best for everyone who makes £10K - someone else is going to lose £10K

In the case of a business that fails all sums raised via investment will have gone to pay the running costs of the business - employee wages etc - so all investors will lose except those who were sufficiently astute or lucky to sell their investment to somebody else before the failures became apparent.

Whilst Zoo is still in business and might ultimately become sucessful, due to the enormous dilution that has occurred, anyone who was invested a few years ago and still holds is highly unlikely to get their original investment back.

Tony
