I see we have a delayed trade. 50,000 dealt at 19p about 10 mins before the close. So, while we have buyers, we have sellers too. (Big volume and a modest increase in price). I guess the half year report will be important in terms of who is right.

Brent oil jumps to four-year high near $81 - September 24, 2018


Brent oil soared Monday close to $81, reaching the highest level since November 2014 after OPEC and other global producers snubbed pressure from US President Donald Trump to dampen prices.

A committee comprised of the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) cartel and non-OPEC producers said it was satisfied with the current market outlook, which represented "an overall healthy balance between supply and demand".

"Saudi Arabia and Russia confirmed that they are not raising output -- and this is bad news for President Trump as he wants a lower oil price that is good for business," said CMC Markets David Madden.

I suspect they were all buys today. I picked up a few myself. Seemed like a sensible thing to do given the proximity of the half year results.

We should have an update in a couple of days. The oil price is well over $80 this morning. Not surprised to see some buying

Zoltav is currently producing from the Karpenskoye field, where 11 producing wells are located. The plant is tied into Russia's gas distribution network via a 22km pipeline. Zoltav sells natural gas produced by the plant to Gazprom.

Brad lol. Actually it's a storm warning in Sweden too. So had to be out early before it got too hairy. 21m/s at its peak. Had an 8 m kite and was a few meters in the air within 2 seconds without wanting to! Was fun but now I'm glad to be on the sofa with the storm really starting to brew. Crox you must be pretty good if you used to teach it. Nice one. Sorry as well for the off topic guys. Nice at least to ha e some discussion here. Nice to see you back on board Noirua too. You always post some interesting links......good also that paperclip and waldof are still about. Haven't noticed bsg are you still around sir?

Ela Bernie! I'm a kiter too! I used to teach in Naxos (live in Athens now). Riding the North Dice 2017 since last year. Great kites. Where did you kite today? UK? Even though I'm English, I've actually never kited in the UK yet haha. Fair weather kiter haha.
