02/7/2019 14:28 | Most of the output is not really saleable overseas (see old comment) | toffeeman
02/7/2019 12:18 | Exporting good programs is another profitable area that has not been well addressed in the past also Toffeeman imo. Tern TV must be worth considerably more than ZIN paid for it, even though they paid top dollar, as I said at the time I thought they had well over paid but was rubbished by other posters, and as it turned out, I was wrong as I believe they have been the backbone of the business over the last 18 months. The reason, its worth considerably more, is due to the volume of work and the profitability that was part of the deal, things have clearly gone swimming well. Once Reef TV got sorted (and it seems to have been) then for the past few months the company must have been firing on all cylinders. Hopefully, the new team will be able to increase margin, due to the quality of the productions and recent ideas. | clocktower
02/7/2019 11:54 | Clock: Volume is essential for survival but margin is the key to share price growth. This is not hugely scaleable as it requires good people who have limited capacity. | toffeeman
02/7/2019 08:48 | Mark Browning does not YET have options, neither does the new Non-Ex Chairman but maybe they want the share price down where it is, so they can reward themselves handsomely before buying stock. Options should be set (if awarded) at much higher target levels so to ensure they do not just profit on the back of a share price that has been on the slide for no real apparent reason, other than maybe by design, although that seems to slowly started to reverse since Mark has been the CEO. That said, a few buyers like myself may have been the reason for the rise though, as volumes have been very low. However, I will give MB the benefit of doubt because he has announced a the large order book on two occasions recently and given us a early date for year end figures to be released in the last RNS. One cannot be anything but positive when you look at the volume of work we have seen over the past six months, and the fact that Tern Tv alone is valued at more than the total outfit. Crazy low valuation imo. DYOR | clocktower
02/7/2019 08:04 | no need for director buys, they have options which they won't exercise until this is well in the penny, is multibags away. | kmann
01/7/2019 23:29 | With new management and with their trade record This company is about to move ahead stronglyMore contract wins to come | daymer58
01/7/2019 20:25 | Another Tern TV program at peak hours on BBC 1 was on at 7.30 this evening: Watch it on iplayer. Really busy and top grade stuff. | clocktower
01/7/2019 15:31 | While you can buy well inside the spread, the margin is killing it - I wonder why the MM are keeping it so wide at present? | clocktower
01/7/2019 13:54 | Christopher Satterthwaite as Non-Executive Chairman starting his first day today but will he fail to put his hand deep into his pocket to buy stock in the market, in the same manner as Mark Browning has done to date. Not a sliver of skin since becoming CEO, when he should (imo) have had faith and shown it by buying 10 million shares or so by now. At least there seems to be more confidence in the ZIN now but I have added to my original 500k kMann, so that might have helped a little. :-) The last RNS was the trigger, now we need the bullet from the gun - and by that I mean the BoD buying stock. | clocktower
01/7/2019 13:39 | buy price rising, paying a premium for quantity. game on | kmann
28/6/2019 14:39 | That was not price sensitive but did he Tweet the date of the finial figures before the RNS - I doubt it, and the fact that they are being delivered in a very timely manner, rather than in December is without doubt a very good omen on top of the work announced - some of which has clearly been completed before year end. On top of that there was the earlier announcement about starting the year with over £5,000,000.00 order book. So Toffeeman , it seems like a good time to be a buyer imo but DYOR - massive undervalue bearing in mind how well Tern TV seems to be firing on all pistons. Target .9 | clocktower
28/6/2019 11:43 | NO! Browning tweeted the content of yesterday's 'RNS' before and so he would have been doing an Elon Musk if it had been price sensitive info. | toffeeman
28/6/2019 10:39 | Agreed kMann, The trades showing as sells are buys without doubt, so we may see a slow and steady rise bearing in mind yesterdays buys as well. All adding up nicely hopefully. :-) | clocktower
28/6/2019 09:26 | ct, these fast turnaround productions were probably not envisaged at half year, so with full year not too far away, i see yesterdays rns as a trading statement, with revenues ahead imo | kmann
27/6/2019 16:27 | I expect to see some late trades posted yet. | clocktower
27/6/2019 16:19 | Surprised at L2 but can still buy under .26 kMann | clocktower
27/6/2019 16:19 | Well it couldn't look worse :) | toffeeman
27/6/2019 16:03 | someone buying. chart looking better | kmann
27/6/2019 16:00 | Good to see Mark making his mark on the company Twitter Feed.:-) Looks like it could pop anytime soon. | clocktower
27/6/2019 14:39 | Still a bit of an overhang to clear as can buy at .254 it seems, so what looks like sells are likely to be some buys. | clocktower
27/6/2019 14:26 | With those couple of larger buys it seems like it may not go back down imo, so I intend to start adding over the next few days kMann. Lets hope I get this right this time around, as I see a big run upwards towards Sept figures, hopefully towards the .9 last funding. Let us hope those two £5k buys are directors. | clocktower
27/6/2019 10:40 | Bearing in mind the previous RNS I think Mark is trying to get the share price to move north wards but unless he puts his hand deep in his pocket I cannot see that happening, and the other directors need to follow, by buying more stock as well at these levels. The early morning buys today may well come back into the market later today, as the RNS has not had any real effect on the share price to date. So I expect the pull back once again and once settled, as I said might start adding this time, as I liked the fact about the date of the results in this RNS - I think that was the positive that they really wanted to announce. A few more RNS with Board buying and contract news, then we could see it start to go well and volumes increase. | clocktower
27/6/2019 10:30 | Not sure that is worth an RNS - given the other day's tweets! | toffeeman
27/6/2019 09:13 | Hi, The jury is still out but if it slips back once again I may add this time around, as it does seem as though there is some momentum in the business now I`ll grant you. However, when the last RNS was issued we saw a big jump in volume, only for the share price to fall back within a matter of hours from the very small initial tiny upward trend. The best bit of news in this RNS for me, is the fact that they have set out the date when the full year results will be published. Seeing that is going to be by the end of September is a really positive step. Maybe Mark is starting to drive business Zinc`s way and by starting to communicate with investors by way of providing advanced information could be the best sign of good things to come. | clocktower
27/6/2019 08:45 | YesNew management delivering and this is just the beginning | daymer58 |
